Hello,

 

Thank you for 1.2.3. I am liking it.

 

Can I get an answer on the following question:

 

If I or anyone else makes an effort to properly report BS2 bugs in 1.2.3 and later versions of DCS World, using the official and hopefully helpful process here, will changes ever be made to BS2W, or is it a dead project? The last two version updates have not included the words Ka-50, KA-50 or Blackshark when I searched.

 

I could understand if BS is put on the back burner with all the new things coming into DCS, but I would just like to know.

This is important not only for the enjoyment of us, Black Shark pilots, but also an important proof of quality for ED products if they still want the fame for top fidelity simulations. DCS World is supposed to be a simulation world where different product modules are connected. The modules need to be fully functional as intended as these are modules and not sequels where older versions can be dropped.

Yes, please continue to report bugs and issues. As you said there has been a significant expansion of DCS features recently, so we are not able to focus as much on the Ka-50 in particular, but we still need to track problems and try to get them fixed in turn.

So pleaaaaase, show Erforce (and the Ka50 pilot community) some considerations with his thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=94741 by at least replying to him (and us). Some bugs are present since BS1 (2009 right?) and we are still patiently waiting for the next patch to see something related to our favourite machine.( I still remember the 9 or 10 patches for A10C when we were still with our BS 1.02 version eventhough it came out years before.)

+1 Been waiting for Shark fixes for some time now. I understand the complexity of the DCS products and I understand and support what ED is doing but it sure would be nice to get some love for the Ka-50...nothing new mind you just fixes.

Tester Team pays close attention to the forum (it's one of our "jobs") and try to test everything that comes to light, though of course the "better" the individual report, the better the odds that we are able to replicate the issue and then file bug reports internally.

That thread made me smile, there's hope !

I've seen great improvements at each patch(for DCS in general), i'm just hoping every patch doesn't come with old nasty bugs.

I think "We" understand why you, ED, prefer to track a single bug report than a full resuming thread. But admit at least for us, your method often comes with N+1 threads about one single bug, thing that i've seen quite often before here, and still hapenning in other sim sections.

Personnally, i've done that one or 2 times, and then dropped it, because sometime solution is at hand, but you need to dig in every threads in 3 sections and 20 pages how to do it right.

Anyway, thanks for 1.2.3 (apart maybe for datalink!), and thank for all of you which support BlackShark, this wonderful experience.
