Hiyah,

I'm sorry to bother you guys with a question asked a million times but I cannot seem to wrap my head around it.

- I have a 64bit Windows 7 with a fair configuration.

- DCS World 1.2.3 installed

- Valid genuine key for DCS A10C

- Connected in my WLAN / Port forwarding ( 10308 ) / Firewall approved

- New server selected, internet option, port 10308, password protected

The damn thing does not pop up in the server list, it does in the LAN list .. can anybody tell me what I am missing here ?

Again sorry but i'm going nuts! Are there some LUA files I need to tamper with or ?

Regards

At the same page where you must select a mission to host, do you connect to LAN or Internet? Ah..internet option.... its there... :doh:

Does port 10308 in your router correspond to the right IP in the intranet?

Hi ,BRooDJeRo,

Thanks for you reply! Yes, I selected the option Internet, ADSL256...

And on the router the ports 10308 untill 10309 TCP/UDP are forwarded to a computer name which is linked to a static IP address..

I really have no clue ... Funny thing is that is is showing when I am searching the LAN servers .. so somehwere it's blocked! Aaargh!

Cheers

I host the older gamers (TOG) server from my connection and can never see it in server list from inside the network. I always have to join from LAN list.

Are your Internet players able to see your server remotely.....ie from server list

In addition op- only ever use the LAN speed setting for now... Just in case. Not just LAN Type- speed as well.

Also- ow does your cable come into your router? Is there an ISP box over to your router?

Are you / your server on wireless?

@Macross:

Thanks for your answer Macross. This is something I have to try out. Honestly I have never asked anybody outside of the network to have a look. I will try this.

@ENO

Thank you for your reply. I will keep the settings on LAN. I have tried all options but just no dice! My server is physically connected to my WIFI-router. This router is connected to a modem. The router should be configured accordingly..

I do not understand ..

Ignore it. I see the same thing. I find and connect via ""LAN" and friends find it via internet.
