Woeler1 Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Hi, Whenever I open DCS World I'm not getting any sound. I own FCIII and A-10c, those two have no sound as well. I am using a wireless USB headset from Trust. Windows 8 and the latest versions of DCS and its modules. Any suggestions :music_whistling:Yes, I did try turning the volume on XD [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Owns: DCS A-10c & FCIII
PoleCat Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Check Control Panel> Hardware and Sound> "Sound". (Category view) or Control Panel>"Sound" (Icon view) Make sure the default device selected for playback is your USB headset. If it is not, select it and set it as default. Hope this is helpful. Out Thanks for the reply, but I already checked and tried that. My headset was already set as the default device. I even tried disabling everything except the headset and it still didn't work.:( [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Owns: DCS A-10c & FCIII

ED Team c0ff Posted March 5, 2013 ED Team Posted March 5, 2013 Check per-application volume level for DCS in Windows mixer. Sometimes it's zero, for some unknown reason. Dmitry S. Baikov @ Eagle Dynamics LockOn FC2 Soundtrack Remastered out NOW everywhere - https://band.link/LockOnFC2.

SkateZilla Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 i had a similar issue, where i'd get the loading sound, and first stage menu sound, but as soon as I went MP or Intoe a Mission sound was gone. I fixed it by going to options, turning everything down, clicked ok, launched mission. started it, ran a few seconds, quit, then back to menu, and turned them all back up.
