flying online

can any one pleas tell me how to get controls working online??? I got my Saitek controllers setup for offline flight , but when I get online nothing works???? and when I get in a server plane is always clean...nothing loaded(weapon wise) and when I tell it to rearm it never does??? can anyone help please?

Are your controls set up for game mode or sim mode?

There should be no reason why your controls don't work in multiplayer. Be sure you have activated your profile before you join a server. If you enter a mission with no loadout on the plane press LALT + ' to bring up the loadout page. You will need to reload your DSMS page before the weapons are available. If you use the F2 key to view your plane, check to see if weapons have been loaded. If they are then reloading your DSMS page should solve the problem.

It's also worth mentioning that you should make an effort to join the voice comms of the server you're connecting to, others online could give you some pointers of what to do :)

What plane are you flying bro ?

 

In dcs world for each plane you fly you need to have set your control inputs. Eg su-33 can have different inputs compared to the mig-29 or su27

 

In some instances u can get away with copying you input files to the right folders..

 

The other thing is some servers run weapon restrictions. So if you choosing a load out of aim120 or r 77. Or r27 er. Perhaps only load out allowed is aim 7 r27 r. Etc..

 

Have a quick look at your mission briefing in most cases it will tell u restrictions.

I have my controls loaded on my Saitek profiler.

I am trying to fly the SU25T, but everytime I get in game there are no weapons loaded. when I tell ground to reload nothing happens my plane just sits there. I was 104th server A2G. everything works offline no problems...just when I go online ...

Did you switch on electrical systems first? right shift & L activates these afterwhich the radio should work.

 

edit: also make sure engines are at idle 0 RPM otherwise this will not allow you to rearm.

I used to have a similar issue, my profile was randomly crashing in the middle of the game. I updated latest joystick drivers and downloaded latest version of the profiler software. Try also to clear all in-game joystick controls if any so it doesn't conflict with your external profile once loaded. You could also test your profile beforehand, just load it up, open notepad and see if all good before you launch DCS. Few tips here n there, hope it helps.
