Hello,

I am brand new to this type of flight simulator and desperately want to learn more. I am having a heck of a time setting up the controls that I thought where plug and play.

1. How do I reset and start over mapping my WARTHOG HOTAS?

2. How do you download a profile for TM WARTHOG HOTAS? I can not figure this out.

3. Does anyone happen to use the same setup I have? (IRTracker 5, HOTAS WARTHOG and Saitek combat pedals)

Thanks in advance,

As Swaty says, it is plug and play. I, too, have TrackIR 5, Thrustmaster Warthog, but I have the Saitek Pro pedals. Remember to invert the response for the toe brakes otherwise they won't work (see below).

You may want to 'tune' the flying controls reponse rates: do this inside DCS World by selecting the Options from the opening menu. Page opens with columns - select 'AXIS COMMANDS' from drop down in second column. Click on assigned key and then click on AXIS TUNE box at bottom of screen. Adjust graph curve, which appears, to suit your preferred response rates.

For wheel brakes do the same, but when AXIS TUNE selected make sure the 'Slider' and 'Invert' buttons are checked solid.

You can then save these settings as a new profile.

Alpine Systems PC with Intel i7-2600K @ 3.40/3.70 GHz. NVidia GTX590 Graphics. 24 Gb RAM (24 Gb usable!). 64 bit. Windows 7 PRO SP1. 3 x Samsung P2370 monitors. Thrustmaster HOTAS. TrackIR5. :joystick:

Malamar,

I too struggled in the beginning profiling my WH.

Going through Target as well, a LARGE downside is that you cannot hotswap profiles in multiplayer. To get around that, use Helios. With helios you can profile your WH just like target (though with a little more limited ability, i.e. no layers or shift function that I know of), but you are able to hotswap profiles.

Hope this helps in some way in addition to what's been said already ;)

Actual I don't get it. I can not for the life of me assign the toe brakes to the saitek rudder pedal. Every time i try it makes ailerons and elevator move.
