Where can I see the real warthog ? (USA)

I'm fairly new to DCS World. Everyday I'm learning something new and become more engage with this sim and A10C module. I live in Chicago USA and right now I'm totally crazy about the warthog... here in Chicago we have the water and air show once a year... where you can see the blue angels and rest of aircrafts they even have F 22 one year... but I don't recall seeing a warthog... Do you guys know a place in the USA where general public could see such a plane up close ? thanks

That is the nearest fighter wing (Air National Guard), with Hogs to you.

You will have better luck getting in to a museum with one on display than getting on to an Air Force Base

Robins AFB, Georgia. I went to the air show there last year and they had a Charlie Hog on display. Going to the show again this year; hope they've got another one.

Thanks guys I don't really think they let me in for a pretty face with a camera:) but I might call them and ask so what :) that would be a great trip

Depends on the base, not all military bases are locked down. ;) I would contact their Public Affairs office.

 

You can get a look at it on Google Earth. Just search for the AFB, the aircraft is easy to spot.
