Bruce_D Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Only vehicles with radar can lock a target after 1.2.4. Is that a bug? I've tried to lock a target pressing "enter" when I was driving a tank and nothing happened! When I press "C" for autopilot the computer not only drives the tank for the designated location, but they started to fire at enemy too.

tads Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 I can obtain a lock with VulcanM163,but cannot lock on with Avenger or Chaparral to any air targets.If i put the unit in autopilot the AI will fire missiles,but expends all missiles on one target,a bit like ver 1.23 that the ai uses all mavericks on the same target. updated to 1.24

The problem has nothing to do with our origins, is just a coincidence (that’s funny too). I don`t see a lot of Brazilians or Uruguayans here. The only Brazilian that I know who love this game is my brother, and we play online together. Anyway, I hope they fix this!

New install of DCS World 1.2.4 and CA 1.2.4 Unable to fire any short range SAM eg Chapperal or Strela I cannot lock on any target from a non-radar vehicle. Unable therefore to calculate the distance for a AP/HE shell from any tank or APC Quick fix, I hope, that could be addressed in an update?

tads Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 No target lock from M1A1 Automatic transmission sucks,better to disable in options. T72 AT missile reload time.2 fired in under 20 seconds.....cmon,cough-cough. Can i roll back to 1.23? 1.24 is unplayable. what were the beta testers thinking of???.
Zaxxar Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Yes, and all the HUD for the different vehicles are different resolutions too - just jumped in a Russian recce vehicles and the HUD is so small you can hardly see it. Please guys - take a good/urgent look at this (HUD and locking of targets for every unit) ... its as someone earlier said - virtually unplayable

Frogisis Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Oh good, it's not just me then. Never mind the lead cue, it's seriously hard to fight in a tank without even any ranging info. Maybe you have to turn the "radar" on and it's off by default, but there doesn't seem to be a key binding for it in the options menu, and I can't be bothered to comb through all the control files to see if one exists at the moment. Also, an interesting side note, whilst firing the Msta Artillery gun, suddenly out of no where it just went crazy firing off all rounds in rapid concession. More: in commander mode if i assign an armored target ( in map F10) to an allied flight = CTD Ooooops At this time i use the binocular and lase the target in order to estimate distance... Works fine but a bit too long lol...
