HuggyBear Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 I saw it, must have been all the caps that caught my eye! :) In the options menu you can assign a joystick or pedals axis to the tail rotor. Otherwise check which keys are assigned to tail rotor left/right. Assign your own preferred keys if you wish. If you still can't get the tail rotor to respond, let me know. - Bear Pacifism is a shifty doctrine under which a man accepts the benefits of the social group without being willing to pay - and claims a halo for his dishonesty. - Robert A. EvilBivol-1 Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 All of the controls are set in Options > Controls. If you have a joystick, you need to go to the "Axis Commands" category to see what flight controls are mapped to the joystick and delete any conflicts. If you don't have a joystick, you will find the keyboard commands in the "Ins Rudder" category. Here's an imagine that may help: - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. Everything takes much longer. I have tried assigning the INS rudder commands to myriad different keys and still get nothing. Am I doing something wrong? Seems like a bug to me.
Vegeta1997 Posted May 5, 2013 Author Posted May 5, 2013 Wait I just enabled "Rudder Trim" under Special options and it works. ****in retarded. Atleast I can fly now, thanks

Yes you are and no it's not a bug. Forget about the keys: Assign your pedals to the proper axis in the options menu. Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? garengarch Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 I've got the same problem, whatever keys are assigned to rudder right and left, they don't work. The other columns are clear, so no conflict of controls there. I get up to a hover, and then just spin as no rudder control. His solution of enabling rudder trim does not work for me.
