marker Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 here you go SOLD :) Would it be possible to make the 3 in the picture above without measurements? If so, I'll buy the one you have made and those to begin with! No need for the, what I think are fuse sockets, just switch positions! “Any pilot should be flying the spitfire, at least once.” – John S. Blyth
Glider_UK Posted June 25, 2013 Author Posted June 25, 2013 SOLD :) Would it be possible to make the 3 in the picture above without measurements? If so, I'll buy the one you have made and those to begin with! No need for the, what I think are fuse sockets, just switch positions! I can make some estimations on the sizes based on the holes for the toggle switches, generally the hole for a toggle switch is 12mm but on the image you can see the nut, this tells me the hole is 16mm. I can use that as a basis to create the dimensions for the rest of the panel. That said to be very accurate I would need dimensions. The upside though most panels are the same width its only the height that has variations. obviously there are exceptions to the rule. I will create some drawings and get back to you. marker Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Excellent work mate. Although I would rather they never had the holes circled. Unless someone can tell me exactly what they are used for, I think I would be better off without them.. Look like fuses to me! Circled them in pic below! Cheers “Any pilot should be flying the spitfire, at least once.” – John S. Blyth

JaseGill Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Hey Glider, Whats the chances of an A10C AHCP, Electrical Power, Landing Gear and panels and the front fascia for the UFC? I'd pay up front for those if you're willing to produce them. I can even supply PDF's of each of the A10C panels if that's any help to you? J. Deadman Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 I think there may be some confusion going on here there are not any fuse on the panels your removing holes with no idea what they are for or how the panel is lit . The holes you are having remove ar for the pane back light system. I can understand you guy wanting back lit working panels A bit more research may be need to get a working product good luck https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.

If they are for the backlights, then great, but I wont be using backlights at all. Not for my first build. Deadman Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 (edited) No actualy I was answering your question if some one could tell you what the holes are for . I did they are for back lighting the panels!! oh by the way there is no need for all the !! points Get te panels made how ever you would like In my humble opinion not getting tem made so the can be back lit on way or another is a waist of money but hey its been done before.
