Duckling Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 (edited) Visited our HKP3B, Agusta-Bell 204B, on the floor at VFM. Pics are less then perfect (as allways ;-) Pics of topside panel was a real disaster.. If anyone want some measurement made from within, write a note here with specs of what, and I'll make it when possible Edited June 3, 2013 by Duckling 1 - - - -
Derk Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Hey there duckling, I'm planning a huey pit, so your offer is most welcome. What i would like to know is the floor width both at the chin bubble and behind the pilot seat, measured from the pedestal to the airframe. I would also like to know the floor length from the bubble to behind the seat and the space between the pedestal and pilot seat. I hope you can help me out. Thanks. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Mt5_Roie Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Here's some pictures I took of a Huey at a Museum I volunteer at: While I'm not going for exact replica, I've started work on mine: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=107533 Coder - Oculus Rift Guy - Court Jester
JG14_Smil Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Great pictures! I am glad I am not starting one of those! :)
Duckling Posted June 5, 2013 Author Posted June 5, 2013 @Derk, I'm on on Monday evening @Roiegat, great pics (I have a better cam on the to-do list ;-) Anyone have a link (or pic) of a detailed wireframe/'exploded view' of the Huey ? ps. anyone welcome to post info oc. Wish I got some more time for an additional pit. Idea of a three 'seat' Huey pit in a projector 'box' sounds kinda thrilling, and add a 3-DOF base to that (weight would be a main issue though 8) .ds - - - -

Duckling Posted October 29, 2013 Author Posted October 29, 2013 (edited) Got a quiz for Huey seat measurements (here in centimeter). Sorry for bad quality pics (note the diff of chair design versus pics posted above) Cheers Gus edit: Angle of floor (vs ground), chair seat and backsrest taken by inclinometer in my iPhone (i.e. regard it as best effort) Edited October 29, 2013 by Duckling - - - -
Kornskydiver Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Anyone know the diameters of the guages? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Cripple Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 The gauges are likely to be a standard diameter. This link might be a good start for guessing which is which. I believe the author is active on here too. http://www.mikesflightdeck.com/dimensions/instrument_cutouts.html I considered doing a Huey-pit myself at one stage, so I'll share the bits of info I've collected. Apologies if it duplicates anything we already know.
