Maybe I'm just a terrible shot but when I'm using the door guns, the rounds don't seem to fall anywhere near to where I'm aiming. They usually trail my target by several feet. Anyone else notice this?

You should stop aiming by your sight, follow your bullets - look where they are going and ajust accordingly. That works for me. Remember that bullet never lies, its the sights that do.

Yeah ditto to the above ignore the sights and concentrate on the tracer fire that's what its for, and as above a moving aircraft results in adjusted fire and adjusted line of sight.

Granted its a bit tricky but practice makes perfect go on the range and set up a flying pass auto pilot on throw open the door and start spraying you'll see your tracer line will curve but concentrate on the hit markers as that's where the metal meets the meat so to speak.

Eagles may soar high but weasel's don't get sucked into jet engines.

Yep, that's how we do it in real life! My M240 has the ground sights but I never use them. I just start with an educated guess, start shooting, and walk the rounds onto the target.
