JaNk0 Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Hi ppl! Couple days ago i was flying with my friend online. Only two of us. I made a mission with 2 Su-25t and they were suppose to be parked in parking area. No problems so far. Then when we both were in our cockpits he started up his engien in no time. He had the buttons install on his x-52. I don't any high tec. joystick so i was using the keyboard. From what i remember in mig,su,f-15,a-10 you start your engiens with shit n' alt + home? (I know that in the su-25t you must press shit or ctrl + L for electronichs) So after i pressed ctrl + L i pressed shift´+ home and alt + home. But nothing happend . Can somebody tell me how you start a su-25t up?? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Guest EVIL-SCOTSMAN Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 did you make sure ur throttle was set to zero ? as it will stop you from starting engines. Ive changed my buttons for startup, but i do know if you have throttle set to anything but idle it will not start properly or aeven at all.
Teo Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 1 - Electonics on : Shift + L 2 - Throttle to idle <- Very important, as scotsman pointed out 3 - Start left engine : Alt + Home 4 - Start left engine : Shift + Home (or both with RWin + Home) 5 - Dont touch the throttle until rpm settles (around 35%) Btw, nice to see someone from sweden around here :)
Ironhand Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 (Snipped)...So after i pressed ctrl + L i pressed shift´+ home and alt + home. But nothing happend...(snipped)...Can somebody tell me how you start a su-25t up?? In theory what you are doing is correct. However, if I first press either the SHIFT or ALT key and then the HOME key, the engines often won't start for me either. But reversing the sequence always works for me: Press and hold down the HOME key, then press SHIFT. (Right engine start.) Release both keys. After that engine starts, press and hold HOME again. Then press ALT. (Left engine start.) To start both engines simultaneously, press and hold HOME, then press the RWIN key. junae Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Rich, This happens to me too, but only with the RIGHT engine... If I press R WIN + HOME, it works, if I press ALT first, then HOME it works too, but with the SHIFT first then HOME, nope... At first I was thinking it was my fault, LOL!! :) Thank you, you have control =FN= Six o'Clock Member of Falcões da Noite Squadron Florianopolis :: Brazil
RedBear Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Well i don t know the others but in my case i have to use the shift + home cobination, i need to use the left shift key, If I try the right one the engine won start. I was thionk it was a keybord problem but it wasnt. With the alt home there is no problem i could use any the same happens to me during shoot down. I hope this help you.
