I have a GTX680 card and in every single mission I fly, at some point, the Nvidia driver crashes and restarts. I can alt-tab back into the game, but often the framerates have gone down (fixeable by alt-tabbing again). I'm running the most recent drivers and the card does not get very hot or anything. The problem has persisted over several Nvidia driver updates. Do you guys have any idea what might be going on?

What I did was: revert to the last version that worked flawlessly and disabled all related auto-updates for it. Now I run my GTX 560 Ti with version 314.21 and until I really find a good reason of why I should update it, it will stay that way.
MajorV Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I have the same card (320.49 driver) and the same exact problem. Have you come up with a solution? I will keep trying and let you know if I do.
Prophet Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I currently have the 326.41 driver and I have no issues with my SLI 285GTX's. Of course it could be related to all the new features in the newer cards. Is there any reason you guys are not running the most recent driver? There is a new beta driver released, 326.80.

As everything is OK I stay these drivers because everything work fine with my DCS... Bye Skull. aussieboy Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Have you tried running on lower settings? You may need to reduce the load on the card.
