My guess is that it would work just fine. The folks using three screens in landscape see some distortion but they are dealing with a huge difference in aspect ratio. In this case I think you would see a cropped version of what I see on my 2560x1440.

Does DCS support these new monitors? Res is 2560x1080. Will it stretch or fisheye?

I would not recommend getting a monitor with the resolution of 2560x1080. I had and used a Dell 29" with DCS 2560x1080 and ended up selling it.

 

The Dell 29" just made everything seem long and narrow. Also watching YouTube movies doesn't always support that resolution.

It's essentially more or less 2x 5:4 without a pesky center bezel in the way. Makes for ideal blu-ray movie watching though as most cinematic blu-ray movies are 1920x800...which is also 21:9 aspect ratio.
