  1. Not a fan of the new forum. Please bring back the old trusty one!
  2. I paid my $300 AUS dollars back in April. Emailed them in May was advised would be around end of July and still nothing. Sent an email on the 5th September had an auto reply from Realteus on the 7th September advising (Your request is being reviewed by our support staff. We aim to be with you within 48 hours) and of course nothing. I’m still holding onto hope that I will get the Realteus seat but I’m not holding my breath. At least Jabbers had some communication with Realteus.
  3. Hi I received my Pimax and I’m unsure whether Pimax has delivered a Pimax 5k XR which is what I ordered or a Pimax 5k plus. There are no markings on the headset to indicate whether it’s a 5k XR or 5k plus or on the invoice paper work. When I seen the images of the 5k XR there was a BE (Business Edition) which they now call the XR engraved/marked on the bottom left front corner. Does anyone know how to check/confirm which model I have received? I don’t want to use the one I’ve received without first confirming it’s what I ordered? A label under the headset says it’s a Model P2 Thanks for any help. Update from Pimax If you see 5000x on the label that indicates a 5k XR
  4. As per Highman-ED “With the water settings to high, the white caps look amazing, however they flicker considerably in the distance (above 2km).” “I have AA @ 16 and MSAA @ 2, but they're still very noticeable. is it possible to implement a lod setting such as there is for shadows for these at a certain range to prevent the flickering?” What our squad has noticed is that with high wind the water flicker is very noticeable in the Persian Gulf map using the Oculus Rift, with low wind less white caps means a lot less flicker on the water in the distance. This is mainly a problem sitting on the Stenis looking across to the distance, once in the air the flicker gets less and less as you gain altitude. Caucasus map doesn’t seem to suffer with the flickering white water caps. __________________
  5. Flickering is also happening in VR view. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=211366
  6. 1080 user here, I only get Micro stutters if I enable mirrors and only if over towns down low. Frames drop to 22-27 anything over 45 FPS no stutters. Most settings maxed out, Pixel Density 2.0
  7. Hi Exigeous Not sure if this helps you but have you tried this? Myself and Highway are waiting for ED or someone to confirm our findings. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=178470 Cheers
  8. I've also been waiting for news on F16 style MFG pedals.
  9. I tend to agree with you, I know NTTR is Alpha and I was lucky enough to receive the map for free with my early purchase of the Warthog. It would be really nice to see news on maps such as SOH. There are only a hand full of Multi player servers hosting NTTR with minimal players at times. F18c with carrier ops and if possible SOH map would be what most would like prioritised IMHO. Not complaining just saying!
  10. Anyone else notice Chizh posted in official updates that 1.2.16 was now released to version 1.5.2? It was up for a few minutes then disappeared. Sneaky.
  11. Hi Starway Thanks mate, link working now Great work  Cheers
  12. Hi Andrey, I can confirm I have runway bumps vibration, I just turned up the Buttkicker a little more.
  13. Hi Andrey I also use the buttkicker, I use Virtual Audio Cable 4 program. This allows me to have 2 Audio repeaters. Repeater #1 to run sound to my desk top speakers connected to toslink connection, I use a digital to analog splitter from the toslink connection to my desktop speakers. Repeater #2 to run sound to the Buttkicker connected to rear (green audio jack). I'm running a USB headset. all 3 sound sources run at the same time. I use a batch file to start and stop the audio repeaters. I've run the Simshaker program but doesnt seem any different. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong? Cheers
  14. Hi Starway The link is not working for me. Cheers
  15. Hi Andrey The link is not working You can download 'Sound Mode Expansion Module' setup file by the following Link. Cheers
  16. I posted the link over at the 229th to see if there might be some interest from the squad members. http://1stcavdiv.conceptbb.com
  17. Hi Mate, I use Virtual Audio Cable (VAC) software and run my USB Headset, Desktop speakers plugged into Toslink connection from PC and the Buttkicker from the rear audio jack on the PC and all runs no issue. I purchased VAC a few years ago wasn't expensive. Here is the link http://software.muzychenko.net/eng/vac.htm __________________ Easy setup procedure This is what I found on the net. I noticed a lot of gamers, like myself, use VAC to cast stereo mix and microphone into a single output. I have found a much easier way to start/stop VAC with the click of an icon on your desktop. I didn't know VAC had command line switches until recently, but this works wonderfully and very conveniently. Here's what to do: VAC Start Open notepad, paste this code and save as "VAC Start.bat": Code: start /min "audiorepeater_ks" "%programfiles%\Virtual Audio Cable\audiorepeater_ks.exe" /Input: "Realtek HD Audio Mic input" /Output: "Virtual Cable 1" /BufferMs:100 /Autostart start /min "audiorepeater_ks" "%programfiles%\Virtual Audio Cable\audiorepeater_ks.exe" /Input: "Realtek HD Audio Stereo input" /Output: "Virtual Cable 1" /BufferMs:100 /Autostart This batch file will start two audio repeaters, set your inputs Stereo Mix and Microphone as Virtual Cable 1 output, then minimize to the task tray and auto start. If all goes well, you should have two repeaters looking like this: Note: If you have different inputs than what I have above, you will have to change the /Input switch to work with your sound card inputs. VAC Stop Open notepad, paste this code and save as "VAC Stop.bat": Code: taskkill /im "audiorepeater_ks.exe" This batch file will simply close both audio repeaters.
  18. Donated, I have the buttkicker so would like to see this up and running. BTW looks like the Aussies are leading the way in the donations so far.
