PeterP Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 This would give me (and I think many more too) a better feeling and I wouldn't spend so much time to look out what is new and I would feel much more comfortable to click the 'Yes' button when DCS asks me to update. Please give us a zero-day changelog . I find it somewhat strange that I have to ask for it- this should be natural . Thanks!

PeterP Posted September 4, 2013 Author Posted September 4, 2013 (edited) http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1858557#post1858557 Nate Sorry - I meant that the auto-updater provides me a link and/or I get the news inside of DCS . - so I don't have to search manually for it and/or have to wait for the news while the update is already available. Edit: ...There are also may changes missing in the changelog and/or some are very unprecise described. example: Input: Absent joystick commands restored. - which? Multiplayer: Fixed several crashes. - which ones ? Many minor corrections in the game. - Great! but which exactly? Su-25T: Removed target diamond on the HUD. - Great ! ..WHY? Please explain. (Will prevent some new postings about it) ...list goes on ...Don't write the changelog in a way that it demands "expert knowledge" - write it in a way that also answers possible questions and is provided in a self opening TXT as soon I have the option to update. PeterP Posted October 22, 2013 Author Posted October 22, 2013 Why is it so difficult to post a change log at the same time as the patch goes live. Pretty much every other vendor out there has managed to solve that one. ?
