Four Questions:

1) Anyone figured out how to use bombs yet?

2) In the default setup there is a rocket launcher with 32 rockets, yet in the mission editor you cannot access this. Anyone know why not?

3) Anyone know how to limit rockets to single / pair shot?

4) Can you remove the burst limit for the UPK (and other?) pod/s or is it fixed that way?

1) I think its not implemented yet.

3) Its in the Quickstart PDF in your Doc-folder: top left of weapons panel or RSHIFT + [ (or) RSHIFT + ]

There will always be bugs. If everything is a priority nothing is.

I wonder what percentage have not even glanced at the Quickstart pdf before jumping in and flailing around. Not that there's anything inherently wrong with that, just saying that the guide does answer a number of basic questions that seem to be frustrating a few users

I had a look, but there's a lot of stuff it doesn't cover so I dont bother going back to it.

4) Pretty sure this is a fixed length now.

4). Yes, it seems that the cut-off switch and burst length selector doesn't affect the UPK pods, but it works for GUV-8700 pods.

It's the same in the Ka-50 for the UPK pods.

Not implemented yet

3) Anyone know how to limit rockets to single / pair shot?

There's a 4,8 or 16 switch (from memory above and left of the interval setter/timer)

Cheers.

Rather than start new topic, can anyone help. The safety switcher is LALT S but I cannot get it to change from safe. I also cannot assign either a button from the TM warthog or X52.

Any suggestions please:)

I'm not at my PC at the moment but I'm sure the safety switch can be assigned to the HOTAS (I have done this myself). Bt are you sure about the LALT-S? It's just S (unshifted) I think.

Ensure all weapon system circuit breakers are on (the left sections of breakers). IIRC they are left off if you are using autostart.

The circuit breakers should not prevent the change of the switch from safe to armed. the weapons were not armed of course but the position of the switch is armed regardless of the state of the CBs.

Of course not. But I was confused in the beginning when I moved the switch - the yellow info text still said "SAFE". That was because of the CBs not being on, and I thought that it might be the problem here as well.

I will check it this evening. I have a standard key on my MFP for arming the wepaon system and I'm not using the keyboard for this anymore, so I don't remember the key. But it's assignable and the key is working.

PS: Yes it's LALT-S. But it's working for me in my CH MPD.

Are you still having problems with arming the weapons? It should be fairly easy. On any mission, after the helo has been started, using Right CTRL-SHIFT 1,2,3. Then make sure the master arm button is up and then look behind and above your left shoulder. You will see a single large red lever you can pull. Pull this and you should be all good.
