Un-Install Procedures (Deactivation ?)

Despite my best efforts - I was never able to get DCS World & Flaming Cliffs 3 up and flying (see):

I want to uninstall everything (DCS World & FC3) and do a Clean Re-Install using the new 1.2.6....263 Versions of both DCS World and FC3.

 

My Question:

Do I need to "Deactivate" FC3 before performing the UN-Install Routine ?

Hello Sir!

 

Well I do not own FC3 myself but I have every other modules, and if I can have a guess I think it should be the same.

 

All you have to do is look up it's dcs protect executable in the DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\ the relevant folder\bin run it the press the activate/deactivate button than select deactivate.

 

Please note that this has to be done only when you are doing an OS reinstall or computer hardware change, if you left your system unchanged you DO NOT have to do it.
