[CLOSED]DCS World error and crash

Hi, I am trying to run dcs world instant action with default su-25t and get a crahs to desktop or stops working. i get this error message:

 

I am running dcs world 1.26 or latest update with no modules installed. Thx.

 

 

 

 

 

well, fixed that as dcs.exe was running in background under task manager servcies,i believe a second one running, so now that error message doesnt come up. now when i start, it cvrashes to dektop;get this error now:

 

Any ideas here?

Hi, using windows vista 32-bit hom edition. Pc is a HP core 2duo with 3GB RAM and external HD with 380GB free out of terrabyte;nvidia gefroce 210 vid card at 1GB RAMl

Have you tried the 32 bit modification already? Sorry to say this but I think world may be growing outside of that threshold either way

This is from hp site on pc specs. i upgraded the vid card from the crappy geforece 8300gs to the 210 for teh ram at 1gb. Still, i could get the s-25 to run with stuttering. Just dont know why this error appeared. I had dcs world 1.21 on my hd and did the update to get it to the current 1.26. I hope you guys can help me. i wjust got mi-8 and want to get this working.

hi, can you be more specific and where do i get the modification? I never did it.

Try the 32-Bit Modification:

 

First fix for 32-bit only, let the program use more RAM:

 

For Win Vista/7 simply Copy/Paste or Type Exactly into CMD:

bcdedit /set increaseuserva 3072

And Reboot.

hi, tried the modifcation, and it worked but when i installed mi-8, it crashed and then i tried again and the defauly su-25t and it crashed again or stopped working. here is the latest error message: any ideas?

I've tried renaming that zweiblau file in program files/ eagle dynamics/ dcs / bin and then repairing- no idea If that worked but running strong so far.

Just anything but what it is. Zweiblau1 works.

 

Then repair dcs world and it will recreate that file.

 

Like I said no promises- but I stumbled into it looking for something else and thought it was worth a try. Still running strong.

Since re-installing windows, my DCS won't start.

 

System is win7 home premium x64. DCS is v.1.2.6

 

I tried installing 1.2.5 and updat6ing to 1.2.6 - didn't work so I removed it and tried installing 1.2.6 clean.

 

Funny thing is it crashes only when I have my Saitek Evo Force plugged in - if I remove it, the game loads fine.

 

Tried re-installing the Saitek drivers but this didn't help either. Also repaired the game, deleted the save folder and what else I could find in the forum.

 

 

Can anyone help?

6GB RAM

ATI HD4830 512MB

W7 HP x64

 

UPDATE: uninstalled 1.2.6 and cleaned the saved folders, then installed 1.2.5 - runs fine. Updated to 1.2.6 and crashes again - I guess I am stuck on 1.2.5..

Thanks ENO - I had a look at this thread but the chaps there are complaining about FFB issues and delays as they can launch the game - I don't get that far at all.

 

Even when in the menu if I go to settings, as soon as I select the Controls tab, I get the error and crash. Something is very very wrong..

 

I will be sticking to 1.2.5 for now - good thing I kept the install files..

I know that you already rolled back , but did you try deleting/moving your DCS folder out of saved games, to make sure there wasnt something screwy with your controller profile? It seems weird that it works fine with the controller disconnected.

yes I did delete the saved folder - it was also a new install after OS reinstall due to major hardware upgrade so I do not think there were any profiles. I thought it might be the new hardware, but why do it on 1.2.6 only and work with 1.2.5 (I didn't try 1.2.6 before the upgrade but |I guess it would have done the same). I also used the exact same Saitek drivers as before.

I make my money in IT so I did my research and tried what I could find here on the forums, but nothing helped so far.

I have not yet settled and configured eveything so I can give 1.2.6 another go anytime - share your ideas I will give it a go :)

I haven't dealt at all with force feedback but it definitely seems to be the center of attention. Any chance you're reinstalling that driver, or perhaps trying a different port for it?

 

Not to speak to the obvious but it seems to be what ails you. Might be worth verifying your assignments to make sure that your stick is properly configured... if you haven't already of course.

I can ask the test team if anyone uses that controller and see if there is any issues there, but as ENO said, there are people having trouble with FFB, so I am not sure if its related, but it certainly points to your controller being the issue... Have you checked their support to see if there is any issues with any other games?
