HiJack Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Ground Force Commander have control over AI flights and there is no “Player can control” checkbox in mission designer and ther is no “playerCanDrive” in the mission file to edit. How can I disable this feature for the GFC? Is it possible?

I have edited some older mission files and some units does not show the “Player can control” checkbox but does have the “playerCanDrive” set to true in the mission file. Can you please check this also Grimes. Or post a list of ground units that are controllable.
Grimes Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I think someone made a list, but I don't know exactly where it is. Basically via 'RTS' view you can control everything. There is no "FPS" view for longer range sams, infantry, and un-armed vehicles. There are a few armed vehicles you can't control, notably the Roland. gunterlund21 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I believe I remember reading that AI air units are only controllable by the machine that is the server. Clients cant control the AI Air. I was in Art of the Kill D#@ it!!!!

Wrecking Crew Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 :) Kinda funny, I've been complaining that all GC's in MP need to be able to control AI a/c, and here's a post that wants to disable the capability. Gotta be tough developing sims for the masses! WC Visit the Hollo Pointe DCS World server -- an open server with a variety of COOP & H2H missions including Combined Arms.
