ok guys and girls, we are almost there ;)

good news: seems we will able to use seperate (addon) scenery textures :bounce: for a lot of sceneries

bad news: for the perfect spectacle we will need to rework/recolour all the ~4000 small pieces of map textures as well - otherwise far lod-textures will not corresponding to near/close textures :cry:

 

im going to upload some test screenshots soon

got early wip images -tested with default textures and with Stratos and Highwayman-Ed's textures

afaik we can see base autumn textures mixed with desert textures

and on other images winter sub-textures with desert textures

Dear Mizzy, I miss your Mig-29 Texture pack for DCS-World !

 

I have just found them, not very high resolution and all I did was weather them so they didn't look as if they had just had shampoo and a nice hair style !! These textures are very old now.

I use your skins for MiG-29 in DCS and they it is better default.

Mizzy does your textures include shiny cockpit glass for the Mig29?

 

seeems so on one of the images...

 

Id like to try yours as the standard DCS is pretty much out of shape and Im glad ED is finally doing a new one...
