AhSoul Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Last night in a campaign mission I got my first JTAC assignment. Coordinates were something like GG327446 and all was fine. Once I destroyed these and moved onto the second JTAC the coordinates were something like KM517426. The numbers might be wrong but definitely KM. When entered into my CDU this seemed to create a waypoint that was a very long way from my current position. The steerpoint marker was way off on the horizon. However the 9-line was telling me the target was 10nm away. Did I do something wrong? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Soul's pit thread
ED Team NineLine Posted October 15, 2013 ED Team Posted October 15, 2013 Which Campaign, and which mission? I have seen them be a little off, but never real far. Did you try entering them again? Replay the mission with same results? Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
AhSoul Posted October 15, 2013 Author Posted October 15, 2013 I'll see if I can figure that out later. It's the default A-10C campaign and I've done 6 missions I think. I didn't think you could retry though. Doesn't it just move onto the next mission? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Soul's pit thread

You need to change your position grid from 37T to 38T and your KM-coordinates will no longer point you an hour trip to the Northwest! Markeebo Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 siq6six beat me to it....... Was it, perhaps, crossing from one grid to another? E.g. 37T to 38T Markeebo
AhSoul Posted October 15, 2013 Author Posted October 15, 2013 Ahhhhhhhhhhhh thank you! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Soul's pit thread
