X-52 Pro and TeamSpeak Conflict

Not sure where to put this, but was hoping for somewhere with high visibility to hopefully save someone elses sanity. What little I had is now completely gone.

 

I deleted my configs and reconfigured everything twice, reinstalled drivers, repaired DCS, and in general went flippin' nuts. I would think it was working and then it would go hay wire. Back and forth and round and round.

 

Looks like The X52 (Pro definitely, possible non-Pro, but don't know) and TeamSpeak are conflicting. For me this was manifesting as literally dozens of button presses by holding a button for a couple seconds.

Anyway, I was able to fix this by going to:

Settings, Options, Hot Keys, and changing the drop down over the Apply button to Keyboard and Mouse only. Ironically it still works just fine with the stick profiling pressing the hot key to talk...

well, I am running win7 64 and have ts open all the time because of my status inside my community and i havent run into any issues to date. what did you do to troubleshoot this issue outside of whats listed? have you tried admin mode for both programs?

I could cause/fix the issue at will by opening and closing teamspeak once I figured out the pattern. I dont see what running them inadmin mode is going to get me. I am using windows 8 though so maybe its the 3 way combo... Cant say.

Run TS3

 

Go to Settings, optiongs, hotkeys

 

Down right, choose keyboard and mouse only

And that's the problem, cause then you still need to map a keyboard key for PTT instead of a joystick key.

 

And all this just because TS3 had to drop direct input support for whatever reason.

Hoping it will come back soon cause this sucks.

Ok, may have figured it out. Apparently they felt the need to support Android and iOS as well................

Funny thing is I made the same titled thread with 'fixed' attached in the input output section two weeks ago and you made the last post in the thread above it. Could have saved you a lot of trouble.

dammit, IO fired up my TS3 and DCS the other night on squad DCS night, and TS caused me al kinds of problems,, and come to find out it isn't just me... introduce fixes and goodies for TS3 and other flight sims and then DCS gets shafted.. can't win :cry:

Recently I got problem with X52Pro. Today I realized it's TS! Then I remember this thread. :)
