Wikipedia states, that the SA-8 Gecko is capable of firing within 4 minutes after coming to a stop. However a column of these, which i tried engaging, while they were on the move, managed to open fire right after stopping with no apparent pause. Is this a bug?

"Time to prepare for engagements from being in transit is around 4 minutes and missile reloading takes around 5 minutes."

No is not a bug. The air defences operators set the unit to be ready in few seconds. They only have to stop and lock-on. In a modern battlefield scenary the air defences are linked. So a comboy with an OSA been aware of you presence, could shot you while you still have not warning RWR. Could be deadly but still is not. The air defences still are not realistic, but is ok...

I dont know how you set your units in the Editor... this reaction have relation with the skill unit, probably you have them as "exelent". Set the OSA as "average"

FYI...

I know it is "in fashion" to say that Wiki is not a source but in independent testing on a broad range of subjects, Wikipedia has proven to be more accurate than encyclopedia Britannica ever was.

Sorry to wander off topic.
