A story of Me, Witchking, and a love of simulation

I have a very interesting story to tell you.

 

Over the past few years, I've been on the forums here and over at lo-mac.com when Lock On was in it's infant years. I met a guy called Aquarius_Varun. Most of you probably know him, he's our Witchking.

 

Well back then, I used to hang around the forums and chat with some people. I didn't really know aquarius_varun really well.

 

So many years passed. Aquarius turned into a witchking. And I, well, stayed the same. Lock On got patched and was actually starting to be playable (atleast on my computer).

 

So this brings me to the end of this short journey in the form of a DC++ client. A couple of people at my University decided that we wanted some kind of LAN p2p filesharing network going. So they set up a university wide DC++ server.

 

Now I'm on this DC++ thing like a fish in water.

 

Then one day, there's this guy called witchking on DC++ asking for something. And of course, I'm Wankey on DC++. So he asks me are you VVanks from the forums? And I go yeah? No way! Witchking!

 

Well, it turns out witchking and I go to the same university.

 

I haven't met him yet on campus but I'm hoping to bump into him one day.

 

Here's to you witchking and the Lockon forums for being such a weird and funny place.

Where do you guys call home? I'm from Brampton, currently attending flight school at Seneca College in Toronto. Been down to mac a couple of times to visit friends. I never thought I'd hear from people living so close, I think I have this generalization that everyone on the internet lives really far away. Weird.

Sorry, have fun with DC++, I must admit, when having an empty 200gb HD, a fiber optics connection and DC++, all I can say is: 2 days.

Now I corrected my behaviour, but still have a mere 5gb left (after heavy cleanups, and losing a big part of my pr0n collection :p)
