TwoLate Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 At the American Legion I go to, I meet a pilot who flew at the Battle of the Bulge. Ernest and his son was there and I got to talk to them. Talked about how his squadron (512th FS, 406th FG) had 4 planes up 24 hours a day. He has a bunch of photos and video guncam I love to see. I have the skins of his plane for IL2, cant wait for the skins in DCS world. I think he flew the D-27. I will meet him again and his son and I are talking about archiving his photos digitally. I have photoshop and lightroom so this could get interesting. Just a website at the link. The picture of that noseart his son brought in a frame. What a honor to meet a warrior that straped himself in a piece of metal to joust. More meetings to come. http://p47pilots.com/P47-Pilots.cfm?c=incP47BiographyHome.cfm&vm=BIO&pilotid=592&p=Ernest%20M.%20Sprouse [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Barrett_g Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Awesome!!! Wish I had someone like that to talk too! Would be neat if this P-47 module comes out soon to get him behind the stick and see what he thinks!
