jomar machado Posted December 20, 2013 Author Posted December 20, 2013 cichlidfan: I downloaded the soft, recorded a mission flyed earlier but it recorded only the view of the pilot (F1), the F2 and F3 external views it didn`t recorded...What`s the problem... :(
cichlidfan Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 (edited) It only records what is displayed when you replay the track. It is basically capturing the screen at a specific frame rate. EDIT: Btw, most of the videos you see on YouTube probably involved making multiple recordings of the same track from different views and then combining parts of the resulting files in Windows Movie Maker or Sony Vegas (or something similar). jomar machado Posted December 20, 2013 Author Posted December 20, 2013 Ok bro, I have Windows Movie Maker, I`ll follow your advice...Thanks... :)
Devrim Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Hi Jomar; As Cichlidfan says, for example, first I record pilot view, then F2 or other views. And if I receive my friends multiplayer track file, I record it too. And with Sony Vegas I arrange all of them together and render it. jomar machado Posted December 21, 2013 Author Posted December 21, 2013 Thanks Devrin, I have the Windows Movie Maker, but I noted that the files recorded at 1024 are very large...do you know a way of compress it without much loss?
Devrim Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Hi. Yes, Fraps records with very large file sizes due to AVI format. (May be you can try alternative capture softwares.) I'm sure the video editing software you use has some presets that lead you to use appropriate compress mode for 16:9 aspect and 720p or 1080p. I have no idea how Win.Movie Maker works, unfortunately. element_wsc Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 if you have a newer NVIDEA card, you can use "Shadow Play". Its in beta but really nice. High quality with low performance hit and small file size!

pii Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 (edited) http://www.fraps.com/ If you have a nvidia 600 series or better card Shadowplay is awesome and won't hurt your FPS like Fraps will. Edit: Oh I see you have a 680 so your all set and it will record for free. You'll need to download the Gforce Experience to enable ShadowPlay. Edited January 26, 2014 by pii
