Shadow KT Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) So guys, as I recently bought FC3 and I've been playing with it a lot. I created a QuickFight Mission (Mein the Su-27 vs 2xF-16C) to test how will I perform in such situation. On one of my attempts after firing my second missile I get shot down and start spinning out of control with all my systems off...but strangely when I look at my missile she is still tracking. I'll post a track of it. I had an earlier occasion where my lock broke but my missile still hit(don't have track of that tho) Edited January 5, 2014 by Shadow KT 'Shadow' Everybody gotta be offended and take it personally now-a-days
Svend_Dellepude Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 If the enemy is jamming the missile will continue tracking without radar lock. So will AIM-7. Its called HOJ, Home On Jam. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Win10 64, Asus Maximus VIII Formula, i5 6600K, Geforce 980 GTX Ti, 32 GB Ram, Samsung EVO SSD.

Does AIm-7 track without radar lock on ECM? Didn't know that. Can come in handy sometimes :) Go in close, and when you think you are too close, go in closer.
Boberro Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Missiles in HOJ mode are crappy, I mean it is very high chance of miss. Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
Shadow KT Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 Fair enough..... answers my question..Thanks guys 'Shadow' Everybody gotta be offended and take it personally now-a-days
