Exactly what I was talking about. Either that, but hopefully you can shim yours nice and straight. Honestly I wouldnt go with the base on the floor unless the shaft could clear the chair I sit in, else the throw in the stick is just too great for me.

Just received my Warthog extension and nylon end caps from Stevo and can report that they are very strong and reliable parts. I highly recommend using this guy for any of your sim design needs.

I gave him an small idea of what I needed and in a very short time I had exactly what I had in mind at my front door.

thanks Stevo for your great customer support and service!

Hehehe sometimes this course of engineering payes off ;)

BTW: What kind of 3D files can you handle for your printer? Is a solidworks part okay? Or do I have to convert it to something else?

Asking because I've got an idea for a part that I'm going to need for my L/G assembly in some time (still chewing the fat on the design though).

I can do STL.

I will get to the L/G assembly soon. Going to print the knob in nylon so its transparentish.

Lol, where did that come from!?!? You work near aircraft, just go hop in one and take it for a test flight.

No more F-22's here, they are demilitarizing the rest of the stuff that didnt get built here. Nothing worth taking here anyways, just C-130s and I dont feel like climbing inside one. Im old and tired....
