Here is a movie I have made for the 199th Light Air Wing, which flies the MIG-29S. I hope you all enjoy it. Comments are welcome :) It takes place on the return home flight of a fairly uneventful CAP, and there is also a little combat footage, from various other missions. ;) I currently don't have a web host so sorry for using rapidshare. Oh, and you may also find it interesting that the Russian forum is filled with complaints about the dismal BVR capabilities of Russian jets after 1.11. Go figure...

While I appreciate the technical merits of the discussion, I don't understand why can't we stay clear of the bias accusations. AFAIK, the only "gameplay" compromise ED has made with missiles is making U.S. and Russian counter-part missiles of equal capabilities in the seeker department. While I cannot answer on ED's behalf, I'm certain ED did not intentionally "dumb down" ARHs for the sake of the SARH carriers. The fact that the discrepancy in their Pk exists is much more likely a result of the best efforts in guessing (perhaps erroneously) the elusive capabilities of either the AIM-120 or the RVV-AE. They, unlike ourselves, cannot afford to spend countless hours reading through and debating hypothetical capabilities. As work is continued, I'm certain that these guesses will evolve and change. Also, remember that testing missiles' relative capabilities can be very tricky. That's not to criticize anybody's work (especially considering I haven't done any myself), but as a case in point, a fellow tester on the other side of the forum recently had to revise his conclusions upon realizing that in order to compare two missiles (I forget which two), you have to set-up the launchers at different distances - to account for the difference is rocket burn time and/or impulse (thrust). Otherwise, the missiles arrived at the same location relative to the target with different speeds, which obviously skewed their end-game performance.

Тоже не грожусь всех рвать, исход боя больше зависит от человека, а уже во вторую очередь от самолета. :) По поводу А-10 не говорю, что он отстой и плохой у него есть свои явные преимущества, это и оружие в виде Майвериков, пушка и хороший обзор, да и ЭДСУ. Но у СУ-25Т тоже они есть, это видно из графиков, что он маневреннее ведет себя на более высоких скоростях и реально у него неплохая а хорошая маневренность(су-25 про него вообще молчу) сними Омули разгонись и сразу почувствуется динамика и как он легко разгоняется до 640-700 км/ч , выпусти закрылки в маневренное состояние и при незначительном падении скорости он так начинает крутится, что сам этому будешь поражаться . По оружию это “Вихрь”, который легко работает и по воздуху и очень даже успешно (в ЛО), это ППР, контейнер Фантасмагория (позволяет четко вычислять наземного противника с РЛС), Меркурий и комплекс “Шквал”, который позволяет производить поиск и опознание целей, на безопасном расстоянии, а также производить точное бомбометание свободно-падающими АБ, с больших высот и т.д. На счет дуэли, свободен вечером в субботу, назначь время, когда ты будешь на лобби. Попрактиковаться никогда не вредно ;). Оружие без ограничений, а сервер сам выберешь П.С. Не надо ссорится, все познается в сравнении :)

Hey all, again thanks for any comment, positive or negative. I realize the movie isn't what it could be, and i smack myself up-side down for making it so. Next movie will not be dark, it will be at daytime, which will give the movie a new look. T-Bone and I will try to make more sense into the next movie, which i believe will be the intro for BSO that really feels, and looks, like an intro. Anyway, cheers ;)
