Планируется дальнейшее развитие проекта, с увеличением количества отображаемых приборов, возможность подгрузки различных моделей приборки, и прочие вкусности...3 points

A really simple question to the lockon crowd that might have been asked before: Is there a way to save a mission file from an MP session in different state than the original version of the mission? For example, after the mission has already been concluded or still in progress (lets say some ground units have been destroyed etc). Basically I want to know how do you save progress like this in MP, because AFAIK it is very much possible to do this in SP, but appears impossible in MP..... After trying to find a way to save a mission in its concluded state in MP, it appears that at least in the lockon UI this is not possible!! This is very frustrating as it means that anytime a mission is saved either by host or client (even when the host is running and user joins when the mission is at its final stages, the client would save the mission like it was from the beginning!). Is there some sort of tool that would allow this outside of lomac? Or is there some other way I am not aware of? Help would be much appreciated!1 point

Its been a while since the last release of TouchBuddy*, but we just got carried away adding new features, and the next thing we knew it was 2007 :music_whistling: . The release notes for v1.3.0 are almost as long as the release notes for all the previous versions put together! Anyway, with the latest release of TouchBuddy due within weeks, I have created a small movie showing how to add the new Active Modules to an existing profile. In this case, I add the new Active TEWS, and the simple payload modules to my (basic) Lomac profile. Then after that, the movie goes on to show these modules working while in game. В поиске ничего не обнаружил по своему вопросу... В РЛЭ Су-27 сказано, что полеты с отрицательными углами атаки допускаются в течении (...) секунд (что-то вроде 15). Т.е. совсем чуть-чутьские :) Теперь вопросы: 1. Полеты в перевернутом положении не являются опасными (в смысле останова двигателя)? За счет чего? Топливоприемники расположены в баках снизу и сверху, а, может быть, еще и сбоку? Т.е. в перевернутом положении происходит уверенная подача топлива, а при "нормальном" положении, но отрицательном угле атаки топливо "зависает" посередине, что может привести к останову двигетелей? Или иная причина останова? 2. Отчего планер "выдерживает" относительно бОльшую положительную перегрузку по сравнению с отрицательной? 3. Не заметил реализации останова двигателей из-за отрицательных углов атаки в ГС. И это вопрос (!) :)1 point

Did anyone notice there are mistakes with LO's MiG-29 models?! - Russian 9-12 (NATO:Fulcrum A) is R-27T capable and has a Laszlo datalink but we don't have any of it in LO. - German 9-12A is export variant (there's no MiG-29G IRL), has SRO IFF removed and Laszlo datalink deleted and has only 3 radar modes (BVR, VVS and Ground). It lacks R-27T in it's payload but it's other way around in LO. Of course modelling an airplane with only 3 radar modes is a lot of work but making Russian 9-12 Alamo B capable is a simple line in default MEInit. Most export variants used in WarPac are of 9-12A type but have datalinks removed, reduced engine power and lack underwing fuel tanks (PTB -1150) option. - 9-12B that were sold to Russian "not so close" allies like Yugoslavia, Cuba, Iraq, Hungary had only R-60s for IR engagement, they missed Shlem (HMS) engagement mode and had "old" Tumanskii engines. - Russian 9-13 (Gorbatov, NATO: Fulcrum C) had Gardeniya active jammer and is used only in Russian service. Most of them are upgraded to S standard. But here's the mistake! We have stock 9-13 in LO! It's not MIG-29S as designated! - MiG-29S (9-13S) recieved no NATO designation because it's externally same as 9-13 or 9-12 but many avionics are upgraded to S level. This means that it has N-019M "Topaz" radar and it can engage 2 targets simultaneously. This is made especially for use with R-77s. Pilots usually track two targets and launch their pair of R-77 in very short time frame. One of them for each target. Only S standard (and latter versions) can use R-77 but both airframes (9-12 and 9-13) can be and were upgraded to S standard. For instance that #999 MiG-MAPO demonstrator for Malasian Airforce is of S type although it's externally same as 9-12. So MiG-29S shouldn't have Fulcrum C designation and we should have more realistic radar there. If we can have R-77s we should have radar that covers it. I not gonna nag about MiG's poor rate of turn and poor roll rate, but in LO it's also undermodelled.1 point

Too reliable to talk about. See above. I can't really talk of F-15 'cause I never flew it enough to understand the whole idea of that plane,and I can't really say "I like it" from what I see in LO. Pilot's workload is supposed to be reduced in Eagle but I spend more time staring at those damn MFDs, clicking buttons than looking thru HUD. Click twice to designate while in TWS (or was it RWS?!) is a waste of time (and vital parts), pulling 9G each time I snooze results with G lock, tailslide is impossible IRL and F-15 display pilots usualy fly loops and Cuban Eights at airshows to impress audience. Look Ma, I can do Split S just like Red Baron did back in WW1 is Eagle's best.1 point

I cannot alter all of the scheme of painting because of shortage of time. For this purpose I make template for free loading. With its help pilots can make all that is pleasant to them. Specially for Alfa:1 point

Говорит и показывает, в смысле просто говорит, мой непроверенный источник! :) Он сообщает, что мое трехчасовое домашнее эротическое... эээ... не то :) Мое научно-популярное... эээ... нет, научно-фантастическое... эээ фатастически-популярное, оооо!!!! правильная мысль, закрепим!!! :) Мое фантастически-популярное (пока только в моем и двух соседних домах :) ) видео готово!!! ОДНАКО, увидеть вы его сможете только завтра, просто лень сейчас загружать кино на какой-нибудь сервак, тем более, что я пока не нашел сервака где можно загрузить файл в 300 мб, но я его обязательно найду :) Короче, ждите премьеры :) В кино вы увидите: -много живописных видов :) -как обычно много взрывов, огня и т.д. -самое экстримальное уничтожение шилки, какое я только смог придумать :) -взлет Су-27 с автодороги ( в принципе ничего сверхестественного :) ) -и конечно мой затюнингованный до беспредела Миг-29 :), теперь он не только с корабля взлетает, но и имеет цветной телевизор, музыкальный центр, подстаканники для пива, ну и всяую фигню для войны :) Ну как, интересно? :)1 point

Corsair7662 aka VF-31_Viper (squad CO) got caught violating the server rules by using a modded loadout. He was firing AIM-54 Phoenix missiles from a Su-33 and therefore received a permanent ban from JaBoG32-DediDerver as it is pre-announced in the rules. Of course he didn´t hit anything due to the known online behaviour of the missile (no turns). We furthermore asked him to publicly appologize to all other players flying on the server which he herewith honourably did. Case closed. (Thread maybe as well..., sorry, moderators!):music_whistling:1 point

Для самых читерских ракет (ПРР и "Москиты") дальность и от высоты полета носителя нифига не зависит. :) Что с 10000 что с 2х метров - летят одинаково. В сочитании с мегачитерской "фантой" Су-25Т в игре становится супер-"вайлд визлом". :) За секунду сверхточно определяем местоположение любой наземки/корабля с радаром , снижаемся на 5м (можно и меньше), спокойно подходим на дальость пуска (она всегда максимальна) и жмем гашетку нужное число раз и идем домой. :) После такого и появляется на авиафорумах толпа поклонников ПРР свято верующих в их супервозможности. :)1 point
