For Lock On 1.1x Use ModMan to install. Available at my site. New coastline textures fade out at far range and no strange color effects appear any more. The textures look same as before at close range. EDIT: The fade out distance depends on the Anisotropic Filtering setup of the video card. I adjusted version 1.0 at 4X. The distance could be too close for no or lower AF setup. EDIT: Version 1.0b is added for 2X or No Anisotropic Filtering.

Where have you been the last 16 years? ED makes mostly Russian aircraft because they can get their hands on manuals, pilots and other personnel that will provide the needed info and experience. How do you know the customers in the 'USSR' (Hi there comrade MCP) are happy with ED's service? The Russian forums are also full of 'F-15 lacks this, we need realistic Vikhrs, the A-10 is too sluggish' kind of whining. If any, it's worse over there, as the F-15, A-10 and the 'Soviet' aircraft are all bad, and everything is not moddled correctly. Here all we hear mostly is the F-15 whining. Oh, think of teh time zones, and how many people speak Russian. Then think about how many are taught English from the cradle, even though it's not their native language.

Anyone else feel the need for an off topic forum on these boards, since you can't even get a word in edgewise before threads are being closed quite routinely around here. EB, your point is well taken from the now closed "What happened to the "It's July" thread". It is also obvious to me that the policing is not scoring any major points with the user group on these boards either, so maybe it's time to look at the big picture and not put all blame on the users alone... I know what "infractions" I'm guilty of, but as a customer I'd expect anyone representing ED to go the extra mile and be courteous and professional while dealing with the user group. Policy is policy however and if this is the way it is, that's ED's call, just don't expect an overly positive image spread of these boards and ED in general elsewhere on the internet...

Нет, там делается проще. Записанный (хоть хостом, хоть клиентом) трек вскрывается программой LOME (открываются ярлыки, допустим, для удобства). Потом открытый трек проигрывается локально при включенном экспорте с записью лога всего-всего в лог-файл TacView - все, теперь его можно отсмотреть. Насчет экспорта в сети - насколько я понимаю, сервер отдает насильно свой экспортный луа-файл клиентам. Следовательно - что сервер там разрешит, то у клиентов и будет. И если сервер через свой луа разрешит клиенту вытащить данные по объектам игрового мира - то сторонней софтинкой можно сделать себе круговой радар на всю карту, например. И ничем это перекрыть/запретить уже не получится.
