Gents, You will have to put your self together, cos coming on "hard" never solved anything. Your "I'm so disappointed" or "Damn it, FFS" will not help in this situation. We are here and this is how it is whether you like it or not... and it's nothing you can do about it. I'm sure ED feels worse than we do... so, lets show some understanding here and stop accusing ED or 1C or SF or own balls shrinking... I've been waiting as much as everyone else, dreaming about it, asking for the producers notes, watching screen shots etc. Coming to the forums every day at least 4-5 times. Made some friends and enemy's , had some laughter and got ballistic... This is my home now, if forums are down, there is a huge empty space in my life... So, here I am, my name is Peyo and I'm an Black Shark addict. (everyone says, Hello Peyo^^) This is the ultimate test for all of us, and these are the choices we have. Keep on blaming the world about delaying western BS (wont solve anything), accusing ED, 1C, SF, will get you banned and wont solve anything. Let's help each other get thru these difficult times. Respect. This thread is about respect. Respect some people demand and some people find ridiculous demanding. I don't need a fortune-tellers comment on when the release will be, when ED doesn't know themselves, but I also don't need to be a producer or manager to read this decision. ED believed they could make an entirely Russian release. 10 Euros a copie for one of their most famous helos. And the western world? They are used to pay 50 Euros, so it will probably be released about at this price. Just look at the threads (if they were not deleted) that evolved about prediction and calculating costs and the reactions to that! For any lost customer that buys a Russian version, there is a high chance that due to modding and the active community, the reseller will not earn 30-40 Euros, ED probably not much less. But now, honestly, is that the communities error? I doubt that. Because I also don't have to be a producer or reseller to know, that other gaming companies manage to organize a global release at least within 2 weeks, so these problems don't arise. And don't tell me, they need 3 month, because they forgot to send a copy to western rating-organizations - ROFLOL! If you don't have enough people to translate, there are dozens of people around the world who offered their support, the latest from China, if I may remind you. And now ED backfires on the community, closes threads in dozens, bans people randomly, etc. You guys want an advice? Shut the English forum down until the release. It surely won't get any better than now until then.

FFS guys you dont have a god given right to this software when you deem your entitled to it, just wait and show some damned respect to the people who are doing their level best to give this product to us. Forums really P*ss me off sometimes with totaly ungrateful gimme gimme attitudes........Think I will come back early next year so i can skip you people constantly whining.

I thought it would be a good idea with a thread dedicated to reference material for 3D modelling. When posting material: * please consider whether photos are useful for modelling purposes - i.e. preferably close-ups that show varies details of an aircraft(ship, vehicule, structure) rather than images of "scenic" nature. * please post images/plans either as thumbnails or direct links instead of using image tags(full scale). If you found the images/plans on a website(i.e. not your own), then please make sure that the way you link to them is in accordance with the policies of the website in question - this sometimes means linking to the website as such and not directly to individual files.

I know that some fields and stuff doesn't look perfectly alligned, but this is a WIP collection of screen shots + its hard or nearly impossible to match up all the custom textures due you that lock on loads the textures randomly all over the place. ie if i would igne them up at one place, 2 km down the road they wouldent be alligned. Я просто думал, что народ сам догадается... :smilewink: Вчера почти всю ночь внимательно изучал темы про увеличение FPS в LockOn... Вообщем, пришел к такому: Сцены - средние, вода - нормально, текстуры - высокие, гражд. траф. - ДА, видимость - низкая, теплый воздух - включен, тени - активные объекты, 1280x1024, AA - 4x, AF - 16x (дальнейшее уменьшение этих настроек НЕ приводит к прибавлению FPS). Рендерер поставил атишный, вроде получше стало (субъективно - в среднем пару, тройку FPS прибавилось), но точно не хуже. В graphics.cfg поставил так: LandDay { L01 = 8000; L12 = 20000; } LandNight { L01 = 5000; L12 = 15000; }Кароч, вроде играбельно стало...

Уверенно идешь не по тому пути, причем упорно. Сам послушай себя:"здоровую хренотень я сделаю альфой, один фиг ее не видно, а вот маленькие такие штучки, я сделаю полигонами, ведь часто придется вокруг них летать." Ферму полигонами, мелочь упрощай. Полигоны экономь. Иж, 15000 захотел, не будет такого! Делай конечный результат, без текстур пока. Не надо нам картинок WIP. Делай как видишь, потом вышли посмотреть с фоткой опоры. Следующую картинку выкладывай только конечный результат. Удачи.

Привет всем у меня три вопроса: 1- как настроит microsoft joystik он у меня очен чувствителен к поворотам особенно при взлете? 2- почему при отпускании joystik вертолет поднимает нос вверх? или ест какято стабилиз 3- ест такая комбинация клавиш : алт + с которая дaет мне нажимат на кнопки в кабине я её определил как mouse button 2 но одна проблема - при нажатии на ету кнопку крестик появляется а при повторном нажатии он не исчезает и не пререключается на свободный просмотр мышкой помогите плиз

я лично за локон, потому что ЧА жутко не опнтимизированная игра, и вообщем я ждал что-то большее. Как можно в 3 версиях допустить одну и ту же ошибку с морем? в общем разроботчики похалявили.

- твои файлы не изменят положение солнца в зависимости от времени на более правильное, изменяется только освещение объектов и текстур, в зависимости от положения солнца над(под) линией горизонта. У тебя сильно освещена земля ночью, почти как при засветке САБами, проще говоря - чит вот мой файлик SunLightColor_v3.rar

не хочу я ничего крутить, оно того не стоит ради одного сима, ладно если бы везде так, какой резон, я не тока в Ка-50 летаю на нем, в других то все нормально летается. Если будет напрягать, ну его тогда этот симулятор, удалю с винта да и делов то!

They do have a team of modders that has done a lot of good job on textures/terrain for Lock On FC! Why isn´t the RELOAD mod on the BS release? Thought they would have released BS with the new textures from the SIM-MOD team? I have watched some screens from russian players and I too see the same old 2003 Lock On FC graphics!?

Good news- Naturalpoint has dropped prices on the Track IR substantially. так просто же! в профилёре на министик делаешь кнопки, делишь оси, каждую на три части, т.е. : ось Х 1/3 кнопка(,); мёртвая зона; и кнопка (/) ось Y: 1/3 кнопка{;}; мёртвая зона; и кнопка (.) вот и все проблемы!

Hi all, this post is for anyone already having or planning in getting Crossfire setup. From personal experience with 2x HD4870 cards ever since I bought them I was on occasions experiencing these dreadfull microstutters related to dual GPU setups. Be it due to bad driver support or maybe even OS causing it, I think this installation procedure helps if not eliminate these microstutters (I've done this about 2 weeks ago and so far have not had one instance of my framerate jumping up and down (above V-Sync limited 60Hz) like crazy, causing stuttering. So if you haven't tried it already do this: Download latest Catalyst package (or any driver version you preffer and/or you feel is best for your card, also to use Catalyst Control Centre you will need installed MS .NET Framework 2.0 prior) then... 1. Uninstall your Catalyst software via Add or Remove Porgrams in windows Control Panel 2. Shut down your computer and take out secondary video card (don't just unplug the power and CF cable, take the card out completely) 3. Start your PC again, this time boot into Windows Safe Mode 4. Once in Safe Mode, do a search for all files and folders (tick system and hidden files/folders also) starting with "ati" (in search window type: ATI*) and delete them all. 5. open registry (start/run menu and type "regedit" and hit enter). Look into all these and delete what ever registries are in ...../Video folder a) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/ControlSet001/Control/Video b) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/ControlSet003/Control/Video c) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Video d) HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG/System/CurrentControlSet/Control/VIDEO *if folder is already empty that's fine 6. Once registry is cleaned, restart computer and boot normally into windows. Cancell the popups that asks you to update driver for newly detected hardware and install Catalyst Display Driver and Catalyst Control Panel. 7. Reboot again after installtion is complete and make sure driver is installed properly and all is good. 8. Now shut down your computer and install second video card, but do not connect Crossfire cable yet. 9. Start windows again and let windows automatically install drivers for the second card. 10. Once second card is installed shut down computer again, this time connect Crossfire cable, and face connector labeled J1A to main card and connector J2A to second card. 11. Start windows again, Catalyst will auto detect Crossfire being available and will prompt you to enable it... you enable it and you're done. Process is bit lengthy especially since it's not that straight forward when changing driver version, since you have to open the case, unscrew the card, disconnect the power cables.... yada yada yada... but I hope it solves this problem for you as I believe it did to me. EDIT: it's been just over 2 months that I've been installing Catalyst drivers in this way and not once did this microstuttering occur so I am of opinion installing Crossfire setup this way does help.

this "new engine" looks like the old engine with some update. 2D trees?? :) i guess this is the reason why ed not give source code for free, because they know very well the simulator fanatics are able make a better simulator faster, with less bugs and better 3D models like they ever did. buy DCS and chase AI choppers, that's will be very exciting...i really hope, belive and wish this DCS will be a total wash-out. i won't buy it till not reached the $1.99 in any food store and petrol station...

Hmm, nice one but for what you would like to see you should go for triple SLI with 8800 Ultras, or more ;)
