  2. Hey guys. (Mods: I'm sure this is posted in the wrong section..But I couldn't find a suitable one) I'm kind of at a loss as to where to go with DCS A10. I've half heartedly ran through a few of the tutorials...Which kind of helped. I spend most of my time still playing LOMAC: FC2, but I want to make the switch to DCS A10. What do you all suggest to get used to it? I'm running an X52 Pro, track IR 5, and Saitek pro pedals. I suppose I need to just print out a profile for the x52 and learn it? Then learn the systems as i need them (just as i did with lomac), then eventually the whole bird. Anyway, any help is appreciated. -Adam Edit: I'm off to the field tomorrow...I'll see you all in 7 days.

  3. Hi Bucic ! I dont like it so i dont use it but try these keys: Lshift + J or delete these rows in DCS-WH\config\view\view.lua around row 220 function CameraJiggle(t,rnd1,rnd2,rnd3) local rotX, rotY, rotZ rotX = 0.05 * rnd1 * math.sin(37.0 * (t - 0.0)) rotY = 0.05 * rnd2 * math.sin(41.0 * (t - 1.0)) rotZ = 0.05 * rnd3 * math.sin(53.0 * (t - 2.0)) return rotX, rotY, rotZ end and / or function CameraFloat(t) local dX, dY, dZ dX = 0.61 * math.sin(0.7 * t) + 0.047 * math.sin(1.6 * t); dY = 0.43 * math.sin(0.6 * t) + 0.067 * math.sin(1.7 * t); dZ = 0.53 * math.sin(1.0 * t) + 0.083 * math.sin(1.9 * t); return dX, dY, dZ end

  4. Hello Lallan,Don't get discouraged.Basically FSX out of the box with no tweaks runs like garbage even on the best systems.Your rig should run it just fine after a few enty's to the FSX cfg.file. The best place to start is Jesus Bojote's automatic tweaking/tuning tool. Here........... http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html The best place to find good info on tuning FSX yourself is The FSX Avsim forum here....... http://forum.avsim.net/forum/121-ms-fsx-forum/ FSX is alot like a HotRod Dragster that constantly needs to be tweeked and tuned. But Once you find that sweet spot with settings and addons it is fantastic! Good Luck! :)

  5. + turn off the bloom effect, although nice, it is eating much more fps, even on modern systems, then it should.

  6. Try to limit traffic and autogen, this already should help. Moreover, I suggest you download both SP1 and SP2, unless you already got the Acceleration expansion pack. Some tips: limit the water effects to 2.low or 2.mid limit autogen a bit limit airline traffic to 30%. Maybe try the WOAI freeware real-world traffic. Covers many many airlines: Here's the link! Car and boat traffic can be quite resource intensive. Ask yourself: do you really notice them? Set the Frames per seconds to Unlimited! Absolutely! You have a system quite similar to mine, so feel free to ask!

  9. Status update VAD-Charts: The basic work is done. Now we're starting the fine-tuning. The initial map template we used was fit together from two 1:100.000 ME-Map screenshots (@1920x1080). As the detail-level turned out to be too low, we decided to re-work them all with 1:50.000 screenshots. Now in 1:50.000 scale you need to merge eight screenshots for each airfield. This work is half done. So while a lot is already done, we still have some stuff to do. I hope you will find it been worth waiting for once you have the charts on your table. EDIT: Added a 1:100.000 and a 1:50.000 template of Krymsk, so you can see the differences. (1:50.000 shot is scaled down in quality so it comes from 7.7mb to 1.8mb)

  10. разнообразие это конечно внесет, но прикрывать наземку вертолетами? От штурмовиков отмахиваться надо истребителем и хотелось бы "красным".
