  3. Hello, I have spent many hours building a multi-part mission campaign. Chapter 1 is currently finished and I would like to hear your opinion on it. It can be played with up to 4 players (2 pilots and 2 copilots). The scenario takes place in Cyprus on the map of Syria. Requirements: - AH-64D Apache - Map: Syria Please let me know how you like the balancing (it won't be easy!) and if you find any bugs. If you like it, i will work on the other chapters. If not, then not This is a fictitious scenario The government of the Republic of the island state of Cyprus has been overthrown by a military coup. The United Nations has issued a mandate to form a new transitional government. Under the leadership of the US armed forces, the insurgent military units are to be repelled. Fighting has been raging for weeks and a large part of the enemy forces have been destroyed by the US Air Force. Now it is time to end the insurgency together from the ground and from the air. A new bridgehead has now been established at the Lakatamia helicopter port near the city of Nicosia. More AH-64D Apache attack helicopters will be deployed there to reinforce the troops and support the ground units for the upcoming offensive. The LHA-1 Tarawa is used for transportation to the coast. The Navy was not exactly happy about this. The transfer flight takes place in the early morning of December 4, 1998 at 0700, shortly before sunrise. Due to the incompatibility of the AH-64D with the existing stocks on the Tarawa, only a small amount of fuel and external tanks as well as a minimum armament of 360 rounds of cannon ammunition are available. An additional 2x Hellfire AGM-114K/2x AGM-114L per helicopter are available for the flight. From the mainland, several US Air Force F-15 fighter jets will bomb a swath through the coastal air defenses. Since we have absolute air supremacy, we do not expect any enemy air units. However, be very careful as enemy ground forces may be deployed at any time. Fly low and fast. Your objective for the day is to reach the Lakatamia helipad. As soon as the transfer flight is completed, you can rearm and refuel and then take your new orders. The weather is cold, moderate wind with strong gusts. Good luck!   4. In the mission editor, it is no longer possible to have a ground air defense unit attack a specific air target. Only ground units and water units are available for selection in the group selection. Aircraft and helicopters are not listed, even single units. Version 2.9.2.49940 Greets

  6. Hey, at the new ATFLIR the Point Track Mode does not work. Matt said in his video it's working like in the old Pod, but it won't work. I press the sensor controll switch to right to get the two brackets with the point inside over the moving target. But the pod will not follow the target, it doesn't matter if it's TV or IR mode. Any ideas? Putze
  7. Hey guys, i have a problem with a test mission for CAP. I want that the enemy CAP is attacking the blue fighters, if they are in a special trigger zone. If the blue planes are leaving the zone, the reds should go back an circle in their zone. When blue is in zone again, they should attack and so on. I tried it some hours, the most things are working now. If i stay out ot the trigger zone, they will ignore me, if i enter the zone, they are attacking me. If i leave the zone, they are flying back and circle at their waypoint. But if i enter the trigger zone again, they fly straight at their cirle and won't attack any more. Some ideas? CAP-test.miz

  13. Trim and autopilot no longer work Since the last update 2.5.6.53756 the trim and autopilot no longer work in flight. I have tested with Cold-Start, Hot-Start and Air-Start on all maps, I have also reset the controls without any difference. Before the patch everything worked fine. On the ground the trim of the rudders can be adjusted perfectly, but not anymore in the air. All autopilots like ATTH, BALT etc. are correctly displayed with colon and in the left MFD, but remain without effect. It's a game-braker for me.... Greets

  15. Thanks for your mail. I'm glad when you rise to the challenge. There are many ways to defeat the opponents, in one way or another ;-) I'm flying this mission for testing purposes with a friend of mine, but unfortunately there are always mistakes creeping in somewhere. I plan to release a new version in the late afternoon, in which there will be some changes.For example, the home base will be moved from Sharjah to Al Minhad to create a more authentic approach, like from the relocated carrier. A military airport has a slightly different feel than an international airport with civilian aircraft.I plan to make the mission more dynamic if I can find a way. If you get any ideas, let me know :-) I will also add more secondary destinations bit by bit. In the very long run I also plan to provide a version with resource management.   19. Hello, I have a really annoying problem. The helo that's supposed to fly alongside the carrier doesn't want to maintain the same speed as the ship. I have tried everything possible, fixed arrival time, same knots etc. Please have a look at the video I made for this. Maybe one of you has an idea?! THANKS!
  20. Yes that's a real problem. I testes it and the KI is waiting in front of the blocked cat. So that's not what i like..... Why we cant't tell the KI what cat to use?

Operation Jumping Jack is a multirole co-op mission, designed for 4-8 players. The playing time depends on the number and skill of the pilots. I estimate an average playing time of about 5 hours until the mission is completed with 4 players. It is not possible to save the score in the classic sense. However, the state at which progress was stopped can be restored through the radio menu by destroying the individual mission targets. The mission is started automatically as soon as a player approaches the first target. This will spawn units that are needed to complete the mission. It is also possible to start the mission manually from the radio menu. The mission is aimed at relatively experienced pilots who have mastered their aircraft. Teamplay is essential. Ground targets and enemy aircraft must be engaged.   22. I mean this panel: Maybe the ALR-67 and the dispenser panel :-) These panels are behind the stick and difficult to reach that would be a real relief.
