  1. This mission drives me crazy. I take off, we meet, then fly the the intercept and I get my Air-to-air-kill. So far so good. But then everything turns. As soon as I get close to the target area, I´m getting shot down. AAA everywhere and SAMs, that you sometimes do not even hear coming. I played it countless times. High profile, low profile and never succeed. I defend some SAMs sometimes but as soon as I want to attack my target again, I find myself in a burning wreck without wings. AGAIN! It was a nice campaign (very difficult but nice) but this very last step to complete the campaign takes all the fun away. Do I sound desperate? Well: yes. Every advice is welcome.
  2. Next attempt: Missile hit me again, but this time, the plane kept flyable and I was able to take out the manpad and the SIA. Pilot survived with a broken leg. But after landing I realized why the landing was so "wobbly". Ground crew got some work to do before mission 6.
  3. After countless attempts (and always being shot down on the third "show of force"), I finally killed the guy with the manpad and gunned the trucks in front of the trees. Bad news on RTB: A-10 Pilot KIA. "Damn it!"
  4. I found out that it works if you do not just press the radio key, but the comm 1 key, which I bound to my throttle.
  5. Hey Badger633, meanwhile I completed your campaign and I really want to thank you! For me, this campaign is one of the best on the market. Even this tanking "issue" made me a better pilot. So keep up your good work and your passion and I´m looking forward to the "Rise of the persion lion 2". It will be an instant buy! kind regards, Marco
  6. I was perfectly trimed out but there was an update, which was rolling the plane due to the wake even if between the wig tips (perfectly explained here: https://youtu.be/J-JqScSINSA). So from now on, the goal is to close in beneath the tanker and then rising up slowly as you already mentioned. I repeated this prodedure a few times and am able to refuel again. Thank you and now I can fully enjoy your campaign again..
  7. Hi Badger633, thank you for your quick response. I think I have all the setting mentioned (see screenshot, but it´s in german). I will try your technique but to be honest, I trained the whole afternoon already in a training mission with vortex on and even being close to the basket, my plane starts moving so I have to push the stick constantly to one direction to stay wings level. But thanks anyway. And if you find a setting in the camapign maybe it´s something for a future update. Marco
  8. Hello, I really enjoy the campaign but have one question. Is it possible, that the vortex is always on in the campaign? I have it off in the DCS settings and manage to refuel midair in the training missions and other campaigns (e.g. Raven One). But in this campaign I get thrown around as soon as I close in to the tanker due to his vortex. So I really struggle refueling and most times don´t get it done or manage just to get a few drops. I know there is a "easy" version where you don´t even have to plug in. But it´s not satisfying and I don´t even know how the fuel issue might be solved on long missions. And I get the vortex trouble there as well. So is it possible to get rid of the vortex and take over the setting of the game itself? Thank you very much in advance and kind regards, Marco
  9. I had contact with Winwing and they came pretty fast with an update of the SimAppPro to version 1.6.27 (beta) what solved almost every FPS impact to DCS. They gave me also the hint, what file to modify to reduce the impact even more. It´s all about the file \SimAppPro\resources\app.asar.unpacked\Events\wwt\wwtExport.lua Now I can enjoy the flights with good FPS an all the advantages of the hardware (illuminating buttons)

  11. Are you using any 3rd party hard-/software like Winwing or Helios? Had a quite similar problem with the Winwing-Software.
  12. Oh guys, you are genious!!! I was stuck at 22 FPS (!) and close to end my flying career. It was the Winwing software (for the combat ready and the takeoff panel), that added these lines into my Export.lua Now I´m back with good FPS. Thank you so much and best wishes!!!

Unfortunately, as soon as I start the SimApp Pro Application again, the lines are back and the FPS are gone.
