  1. Ofcourse :) but not everyone has one and its still a good fix
  2. Been looking a little on BSVP v 1.1 and the thing runs wild on 2-400 fps so its no wonder its a cpu hog. Now the solution is to run Rivatuners D3Doverrider and force Vsync, it now uses 30 or 60fps and 04-06% cpu Quite a difference and should free up a bit.
  3. Showing only marginal results when running 5760x1080 in fullscreen/windowed with Aero on/off. I'm guessing the gain would be when running more than 3 monitors over 2 graphic cards, i only noticed when i was running a 5 monitor 5 camera Blackshark yesterday. I'l look into it again a little later as its some stuff to edit, i went back to 3 monitors due to having 16-18fps.
  4. Yes, sorry guess i misspelled that one too even when i edited it. I turn Aero off and it seems to help a little. I'l do a few tests now and see whats gains i get. been a while since i played it
  5. Hi Eagle dynamics. I've been pondering something for quite some time now and here it goes. I have a multi monitor setup and i prefer having my views static as i have full visibility to all sides in my BS setup. Now the only thing is breaking the joy is having to move the whole view when i use the HMS. Do you think there will ever be the possibility of moving the HMS reticle within a static view ? I'm thinking the way to do it would be to have the HMS have its own camera source behind the view Camera. Hope you can look into this someday
  6. Check your BVSP resource consumption (it starts a file called Questviewer.exe) , mine is using 50% e8500 at 4ghz so your problem may lie there. i sure lost a few frames. I wouldnt mind hearing from the creator of it if its supposed to start that file and 50% looks like a whole lot for running that program. As for turning off Aero i've noticed a 3-5 fps gain so from my experience it does help. I'm currently running a 5 monitor setup and even having a web browser up with youtube in the background steals 3-5 frames. There's a lot of small things it can be but first try without BVSP if you havent already and see.
  7. Guess i know what i'l be getting for Christmas this year. Visuals Check Buttons to come
  8. Perhaps not so much cheaper to begin with but in return you will get more than one cockpit. in the long run it will pay off. That being said and if you are a one aircraft guy who loves it more than your wife i would prefer having the touch of a real knob and toggles , nothing will beat that Your preference, i'l stick with TB for now but whops lets have Sc sim's answer that one aswell
  9. This is mainly aimed at the cockpit builders as i've seen many of you in windowed mode when using more than 3 monitors (eyefinity or th2g)
  10. Hopefully in the future we will be able to use a FFB device and our normal stick with the trim still working. Having a ffb wheel for example on your chair makes for some interesting landings and a fun immersion factor
  11. Well make sure you dont step on any copyright toes if you ever plan on releasing , may cost you dearly. Microsoft is a money leech afterall
  12. Your stick buttons also known as DX buttons can be directly mapped in the Trackir software without the use of SST. Just open the trackir software and map it from there.
  13. Can put a nonclickable 3d pit in Fc 2 no probs, working gauges etc, but mfd's and Hud dont seem to be possible as it is today.
  14. Got the exact same issue on a ati 5770 system with a q6600 so its not nvidia spesific. Eyefinity 3240x1920 or 1920x1080 yield the same frame rates Has been tested on Stock and 3.4ghz . Added Dxdiag
  15. Do a google on softth first especially if you have any old card lying around Basically its triple head with the first card running all the show and the second just for the output
  16. Isnt it nice to be whipped ?
  17. Mine. pilot PA-11-60
  18. Signed on the Bk117, great heli to fly. nothing like landing that in heavy winds on a platform. As far as FSX goes there's a freebie addon that makes the heli's more realistic Head over to http://www.hovercontrol.com http://www.hovercontrol.com/cgi-bin/ifolio/imageFolio.cgi?direct=HTR_-_Helicopter_Total_Realism Lots of other good stuff here aswell
  19. As far as the FSSB goes , no it does not center perfect everytime, it deviates a little over time and use so you'll have too open it up and tweak the axis a little, quite often actually if u want it perfect all the time. Generally tho you can just recalibrate and its centered from the software and do the occasional hardware recalib. Deviation for me is usually no more than 10 (512,520 etc ) As for flying with this thing, i think its alright if you got it on 6lbs y and X, but i grabbed myself a x52 instead, feels a lot more natural
  20. Hehe yeah hard to miss that one, great stuff Things like this is such great inspiration that one just cannot avoid going up for a flight after seeing it.
  21. Had to post this one, great stuff
  22. Thats something we have to consider, but after having a survey of foxy from TM not so long ago i'm hoping and do think they will go with the foxy recipe, with some changes based on the survey. That of course remains to be seen.
  23. I'l be on it so fast that superman will be put to shame. Being a long time Foxy user and having just tried the Saitek software with a x52 i just cannot wait to throw saitek away just to get foxy back. Not to mention the feel of metal in my hands again. (Well i do hold my cougar from time to time) Its also perfect for a center stick without having to mod the life out of it just to avoid having that huuuuge box between your legs. Just look at this (no need anymore) My only hope is that the throttle is as smooth as the x52 pro's throttle as its better than *** So yep, getting this one!
  24. Hi So with the 3 screen mode and triple head, the post around here shows the 3 screen setup with the sideviews looking straight back and nobody seems to care, well its horribly wrong. I could for combat flying but for formation flying its just not usable and the fisheye effect and zoom levels + clipping on 1 screen just dont work. Is there no way to limit the zooming of the side views other than messing with the cameras.lua file and editing : Left = { x = 0; y = 0; width = screen.width / 3; height = screen.height; viewDx = -0.4; viewDy = 0; aspect = screen.aspect / 3; It gives the desired effect on the zooming but the position of the camera will now give you 1 eye looking to one side one to the other and a cyclops eye in the middle, this means that when you got your lead in the correct position you will see him on your right montior and your front. I would give you a screen shot to illustrate but it comes out black due to the viewdx edit i belive. This would be remedied by the ability to position the left and right camera so that the views lined up correctly. Basicly what i need to happen is to be able to have a specific zoom on front and have the side views seamlessly line up in a proper 45 degree angle, (or wichever would suit your needs) Any solution that can be offered would be much appreciated. And please keep on the topic, make another thread if you have other triple head questions. Trigen
