  1. I finally got a chance to order FC2, and I decided to order the CD version. Since they ship it from Europe, how long does it usually take? Or am I mistaken? I bought it from the Lock On Outlet. Thanks everyone, -Andrew (Revalence)
  2. Here, look at this. This image of the AIM-120B shows the slight trail that there AIM-120 leaves behind. Yes, there is a trail. Smokeless, in other words, usually means it's exhaust plume is very hard to find in BVR combat. In FC2, I think the trail in modelled very well, the exhaust is slightly shone but doesn't have the white sheen to it like the others (AIM-9, R-73, R-27...etc.) And don't forget, it's supposed to be smokeless to your target, not to you, mostly when you're watching the missile launch. So don't worry, we'll soon have a update/revise that will make the trail even more realistic. But again, nothing is perfect! -Andrew (Revalence)
  3. Didn't I see this in FC2? Or is it my imagination...? Great model GK! -Andrew (Revalence)
  4. In my FC 1.12, I installed the mods in this order: 3Go Su-27, Simmod A-10, and finally GYS F-15C, all in Modman. For some reason, the MEinit didn't intersect and the mods worked perfectly fine. Another way, if the Su-27 turns white with no CDDS files, or the A-10's pylons are incorrectly placed, you could installed the GYS first, then 3GO Su-27, and then SIMMOD A-10A. Good Luck! P.S. If those don't work, I would go with Michelange's way, it's guaranteed to work. -Andrew (Revalence)
  5. Speaking of blanks, didn't FC 1.12 have some? I could have sworn that the CAW mod used some extra slots...(Its been such a long time since FC 2.0 was released :D). -Andrew (Revalence)
  6. Heavily edited in Photoshop Elements 2. I used blurring and shadow techniques. However, the artificial burn marks are less pleasing then I wished... -Andrew (Revalence) P.S. Diveplane, those shots are magnificent, both original (I could imagine) and edited. Cheers!
  7. Wow... Even with that test, I can't seem to get myself to pull together. Just to think of DCS: A-10! Thanks Glowing Amraam, for all you do! You are the heart, or should I say, fuselage that holds the Lock On community together. Your work is amazing. Furthermore, I think the new effects are good, although, maybe less movement would be good... But I like the delayed sounds, I just think it's a bit to late. With all due respect (And adding, up, that would be a monstrous amount) -Revalence
  8. Precise 3D Modelling is Working on it too. ED, there had been a new update on Precise 3D Modelling, and It has been brought to my attention that they are also working on the Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigates. The process is already excellent. It is already posted on the front page. You can view it here: http://www.precise3dmodeling.com/ With all due respect, Revalence
  9. I would agree WitchKing. After all these new modifications, and FC 2.0, the Su-33 is the only model that doesn't have a new model (Unless if you didn't use SIMMOD a-10, GYS F-15C, 3G0 Su-27 and TOMCATZ's Mig-29, but that's highly improbable). Compared to all the other flyable and even the AI AIRCRAFT (say the F-18, it looks amazing for AI) it looks like Falcon 4.0 threw up all over it. Or perhaps EECH. Either way, we need to upgrade the Su-33. There are only two types of aircraft — fighters and targets. — Doyle 'Wahoo' Nicholson, USMC. -Regards, Revalence
  10. I think that ED should do another helicopter after the A-10C. I was hoping for the Apache (everyone seems to like it). After that, I thought a European or Russian fighter aircraft would be excellent... The duty of the fighter pilot is to patrol his area of the sky, and shoot down any enemy fighters in that area. Anything else is rubbish. — Baron Manfred von Richthofen, 1917. Richtofen would not let members of his Staffel strafe troops in the trenches.
  11. Well, I don't know actually. It's a screenshot that's attached to the file for the download from http://www.virtual-jabog32.de/index.php?section=downloads&subcat=21&file=1130&lang=en I just tried to get quick pics. -Revalence
  12. Three Generations of Lock On: Modern Air Combat F-15C Eagle :smilewink: Original (from 2003) Second Generation (Walmis') And now, finally, GYS' wonderful F-15C for FC2 and DCS GREAT WORK! The first time I ever saw a jet, I shot it down. — General Chuck Yeager, USAF, describing his first confrontation with a Me262
  13. It's true that almost 90% of Sims sold in the US use NATO or solely US aircraft. Lock On and DCS is somewhat a tremendous change to the market because of the aircraft content and also the realism. And I also agree, I would pay for a basic Lock On with bugs and such over Ace Combat or HAWX anyday. Good flying never killed [an enemy] yet. — Major Edward 'Mick' Mannock, RAF, ranking British Empire fighter ace of W.W. I. 61 victories.
  14. Extravagant Work! *GAWK* Can't wait to see it!
