Hey folks, Is there a possibilties to set the Slider Axis of the X52 Pro as a "push and hold down" button somehow? What I want to archive: For example: 0-33% - no command 33-66% - VR Zoom 66-100% - VR Spyglass At the moment I'm using the Logitech Software to press certain keys on the keyboard at the right value. "33-66% - press rctl + pad (+), which I set up for VR Zoom. Only problem here is: When I go into the VR Zoom I cant use for example my tdc controls to move the cursor on the radar while in VR Zoom. I guess this is caused by the hold down VR Zoom control. Is there a way in the DCS controls, like to modificate something in the files, to set the axis like 33-66% into a single control button or something? I hope you can understand me. Cheers.

Hallo ihr lieben. Ich hatte schon Mal in dem Thread zwecks Steuerungsmodifikation (3 Wege Schalter) nachgeschaut, aber leider nichts derart gefunden. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, beziehungsweise hat jemand eine Idee, wie man den Slider (2 Wege Achse) des Logitech X52 Pro Throttles einem Befehl zuweisen kann? Zum Beispiel: 0-33% - kein Befehl 33-66% - VR Zoom 66-100% - VR Spyglass Derzeit habe ich es so zum "funktionieren bekommen", dass ich in der Logitech Software für die HOTAS den Gradwert der Achse (33-66%) dem Befehle "Drücke Taste + Taste" zugewiesen habe. Hierbei ergibt sich allerdings das Problem, dass ich in dem VR Zoom dann zum Beispiel den TDC Cursor nicht bewegen kann (oder andere ähnliche Tasten reagieren). Ich vermute mal, weil er eben die ganze Zeit die Tastenbefehle auf dem Keyboard aktiviert. Vielleicht hat ja jemand Erfahrung in dem modifizieren der Steuerungsdateien und hat eine Idee. Ich wäre euch auf jeden Fall mehr als dankbar. Liebe Grüße

Danke für die ausführliche und wirklich hilfreiche Anwort. Genau, wie Luzifer schon schrieb, wird wohl "TDC Steuerung lassen" eine wahnsinnig schlechte Übersetzung des "TDC depress" Befehls sein. Ich meine nämlich im vorbeifliegen eines Posts gesehen zu haben, dass eben jener Knopf doch funktionen hat. Okay, jetzt bin ich aber doch etwas verwirrt. "Radar: Aufschalten von Radarkontakten". Ich dachte, dass dies mit dem TDC Steuerung drücken [TDC press] gemacht wird?

Spricht Rakuzard lediglich in der F/A 18 Tutorial Reihe, oder ist der nette her auch für den Content/die Übersetzer verantwortlich? Liebe Grüße.

Gut, wenn man den "kleinen Stick", der eigentlich als Maus fungieren soll dieser Funktion entwendet (Nutze ich sowieso nicht), könnte man ihn als 4 Wege-Button nehmen. Den meinst du doch, oder? Der ist mir allerdings zu "sensibel". Aber ich könnte es mal versuchen. Ja, die Hornet ist mein erstes Voll-Modul. Generell mein erstes Modul. Aber es macht unheimlich Spaß, es zu lernen. Modifier habe ich mir schon gesetzt. Nutze dazu den Pinkie am Stick. Ist wahnsinnig hilfreich. Kannst du mir zufällig sagen, welche Funktion der "TDC Depress" hat? Ich finde dazu wahnsinnig wenig. Vielleicht habe ich es in dem Hornet Guide auch einfach überlesen. [EDIT]: "• Loslassen (Cursor im taktischen Bereich der Anzeige): Radaraufschaltung, Zielbestimmung oder aktive Berechnung in Abhängigkeit des Betriebsmodus." Das ist das einzige, was ich im Handbuch dazu gefunden habe.

Hey, danke für deine Antwort. Du gehst jetzt ja aber davon aus, dass ich einen Throttle habe, der genau dem der F/A 18 entspricht. Dem ist ja nicht so. Ich muss mir die Knöpfe also dementsprechend woanders rauflegen. An meinem X52 Pro Throttle habe ich zwar eine 4 Wege-Achse, um den TDC zu bewegen, aber ja kein "loslassen" oder "reindrücken". Also mit dem TDC Reindrücken schalte ich Ziele auf dem Radar (DDI) auf. Somit setze ich sie in den STT Lock, richtig? Wozu ist jetzt genau der "TDC Steuerung loslassen Knopf"? Brauche ich den überhaupt? Der Cage/Uncage (Arretieren/Freigeben) Knopf ist also für den Wärmesuchkopf o.Ä. - Dieser Knopf hat also im ausgewählten HUD und Air2 Mode ebenfalls funktionen? Also der ein und derselbe Befehl, oder heißt der Befehl in den Steuerungen anders? Danke für deine Zeit.

If I'm playing on the supercarrier (George Washington) my fps is quite average. I'm having fps between 60-100 without VR. With VR I hang about 26-36 fps on the supercarrier, which is quite logic. Suddelny, fps totally breaks down to about 2-4 fps for atleast 10-15 seconds. Then it suddenly goes up to the numbers above. I'm having this problem on an empty as well on a full carrier (static objects). And I do have this problem in normal and on VR, so I guess its not a VR related problem. When I'm playing without the carrier I dont have this sudden break down. I already tried to delete my shader cache with no results.

So I was wondering, which new carriers belongs to the Supercarrier DLC, because I want to setup carrier Missions for myself (Supercarrier DLC) but also MP missions for friends, which dont have the supercarrier DLC.

Okay I dont get what you mean. "(half the 72 fps when asw is not kicking in)" I have ASW turned off in the oculus try tool. How is this possible?

So I was basically testing out my VR Settings for the Oculus Quest with Oculus Link. I watched a lot of tuts and guides from youtube and on here to get the most out of it. Due to my tries to find the best settings for me I encountered one problem: No matter what I change, my FPS on the ground (for example "start from ramp") doesnt go above 36. I tried using the oculus tray tool to change the PD - i tried 1.0 - 2.5 ... I always stuck at about 25-35 FPS on the ground, no matter what I change.

So i was asking myself, how purchasing the supercarrier affects my Mission editing? Am I able to place the Carriers inside my missions and start from it with my friends, even if they dont own it but me? I already have got the two existing carriers due to the F/A18 purchase. Do I have to buy the Supercarrier anyways?

So I was trying to set up static objects like F/A 18's and stuff on the Carl Vinson carrier, but they are all placed stages underneath the surface. They stuck in the water somehow. Yes, I set the parrent to the carrier.

Thank you very much! That was exactly what I was looking for. Its a little bit confusing, because a lot of tutorials are pretty old and doenst contain such changes to the game.

So I came across a youtube tut from 2013, where he setup a 4 wp route for ground vehicles. He then used a script to make this a loop. The link to the script and the file of 2013 has changed and doesnt work anymore. Has anybody an idea how to do this or even has a proper script?

So i have got my game installed in my native language, german, as it's much easier for me with setting up controls. Somehow DCS changes the controls to the US/EN layout, so i basically cant proper set my controls. Anyways ... I have the game installed or display in the german language, therefore the radio menu is german also. [F1, F2, F3 etc.] Is there a way to change the radio menu to english though? Help or ideas are much appreciated. Cheers.
