What about an 8 core machine with loads of ram and a backbone connection running on a dedicated server built by DCS that can handle multiple movable ground/sea units with fuel/ammo/convoy/frontline supply mechanics and we pay 5$ a month to play on it? :) would be more that willing to pay for that!   6. Thanks Java, but no they are not working anymore, when I put my modded default LUA back in at the update it had a bunch of red commands in it and I had to reassign everything that was toggled with the new default file :(
  7. That's what I did find out both close and open is a toggle now and the nav lights have been simplified to a toggle, why? Why dumb down the controls and not add a separate toggle !? We pay top dollar for the module with certain features and then they remove them and simplify stuff :( I want the most realistic experience possible and now that is taken away for simplification reasons. Let's keep in mind that this not Pac-Man, DCS is complicated, it's also very complicated adding dynamic scripts and having to adjust to frequent updates that changes many aspects of programming all that trying to balance things with 60 people online, it takes time and no you can't make it stable over night but these guys are doing an awesome job at bringing this new DCS experience which has unleashed the true nature of DCS!! Team work with coordinated operations, remember when they first switch the A-A missiles to AFM everything when to hell and you couldn't shoot a C-130 with an Aim-120 everyone on the forums was like " bring back the old model" now we have a better missile model than ever because they took the time and integrated it properly the same goes for blue flag and that is where greg and the guys are aiming for I'm sure Great job guys I enjoy it very much :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. here's my setup, that's why I'd like to get separate functions looking out the window to know which states the nav lights is pointless when you have buttons available for it, they had it there before they removed them :( I tried to revert them back to single action but Close or Open now have a toggle action :doh:

A fighter plane at let's say 10km away is going to look on your 1080P monitor 1/4 of a pixel wide thus can't be rendered, so you can look how you want it's not even showing up, that's the problem you come up with monitor vs real life resolution, that's why the zoom is implemented, to compensate for that rendering disadvantage, that plane would need to come to 1 pixel size on a realistic able viewing distance then stay at that size until the size can grow to 2 pixels and so on, having a 250' f-15 that you can see for 30km away is not realistic either and 1 pixel against a blue sky is not that difficult to find if you look properly, over terrain it becomes extremly difficult nearly impossible even with zoom which is very realistic of what the real life spotting would have been. I think the biggest thing missing is metal glint/glare which was probly 90% of the time the reason for the spotting of an enemy plane at a distance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am already using lua edits for the toggles but only recently discovered the command def lua, I tried to separate the CanopyClose and the CanopyOpen commands to a separate command like before but it's still toggle open/close even if I use only open or only close, is there any way to bring them back to a single state? Like the nav lights used to be off/low/med/high now it's only "nav lights" and works like a toggle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mission first hahahah! Too bad we lost our CGI, with air cover would have been a different story [emoji4] nice flying to everyone! This game is so awesome!!   16. Does it mean you can reassign the "toggle" bindings that were combined from single action to single back again? I tried pretty much everything with no luck so far

Same here, after all the posts and complaints from the original campaign not being ramp start it didn't even cross my mind that we would have hot start missions in this paid campaign, kinda disappointing to me Can you point out where in the briefing it mentions that the aircraft is already started in mission 2? I didn't see it when i read it prior to the mission It's not that it is not worth it man it's only 10$. It's just that it's advertised as the most realistic Red Flag experience possible, you expect just that. If you like hot starts good for you, for me it really kills it, the first mission like said in my first post is ok since it simulates you coming in from Tucson, AZ to land at NAFB but on the second one, if I'm going to fly a mission riding waypoints looking at the scenery, which is ok cause it's probably what they do in real life, can I at least start my plane and do my checks and stuff?
  18. Thanks for the reply Wags, is there a way to know if it's ramp or not cause I have to "sync" my hotas to have the proper configuration coming in and any reason why no ramp start for all the missions like it would be in real life?

Don't know where to post this since there is no A-10C redflag treads yet but I downloaded it and to my amazement why is the aircraft started at the start of the missions?? first one I can understand you are starting in the air but on the second one the familiarisation flight the aircraft is running! Of course I got everything off on the hotas and the things shutsdown so I am now out of timing with the rest of the flight... got to quit... Why no ramp start? I'm paying 10$ for this and I don't get to start the aircraft? Don't tell me I have to go in the editor and change the starting state? It's supposed to be the most realistic red flag experience out there? Well unless the crew chief starts up the aircraft for you which I really doubt it would happen this is no where near realistic to me :mad:
  20. Exactly, I am looking for the most realistic experience and that's why I pay big money for those modules. As you can see I'm using 2 MFD and 1 modifier (red) and no TARGET macros everything is programmed through DCS and I got pretty much everything that I want up there. Is there any way to edit the commands to make them separate again? :mad:
  21. Of course but I find it really odd that they removed separate bindings "dumbing down" the controls why not leave them there for those who want to use them? Just like the canopy I had different buttons for open/close, lock/unlock, etc Now I have to use it as a toggle... Thank god the ASP bindings are still separate can't imagine looking at switches to see which mode you're in in the middle of a fight with a mirage LOL
  22. Any ways to get faster refresh rate of instruments? some of the instruments on different modules are like 1-2 polling rate
  23. Anyone knows if we can put the old commands in there? having to toggle the nav lights with one button having to look outside to see the state which it's in is ridiculous when you had a button for each state before using MFD
  24. Hey guys I know people requested toggle bindings but why are some of the single bindings gone? Now when I want to operate nav lights with my MFD I have to look outside to see if they are on or off or med etc... :( Pretty annoying since I had a button for each state OFF/MIN/MED/MAX before any one knows if I can get the old system back? When i put my old default LUA in there I get a bunch of red commands :(
