Thanks guys. I went back and returned SATA cables back to previous state. DCS ran OK so I transferred the whole folder to another SSD. Then I swapped SATA cables so that DCS would be on my large SSD but on the desired Intel SATA port. It works! Translation: DCS is OK with a hard drive change but freaks out with a hard drive controller change! Just need help with one more thing please- I'm resetting my desktop shortcut. Is it supposed to point to updater or DCS application? Right now I'm on the updater- it starts the program but I don't see any request for update. Is 1.5.4.57013 the correct current version? Thanks again.

Hi guys, My Marvel SATA controller was acting up so I unplugged the SSD that DCS is on and plugged it into my reliable Intel SATA port. Most programs were OK with the swap however DCS will only display a small error window claiming possible virus or system changes, comets approaching etc. Any way i can get around this without reinstalling everything? Thanks in advance for any help.

+1 on the Hornet. And the Mig 21 will be the perfect sim once they get the cockpit flood lights working.

+1 Yes, it would be nice to have the red and white floods working. Night flights would be more enjoyable.

CH here also and I agree with mpdugas. Check in game for double assignments to your controls. I even remove keyboard assignments to pitch, yaw, roll and thrust. The game needs to look only at your stick, throttle and pedals.

Just wondering, after a couple of months now- has this been solved or do the people that bought the upgrade need to buy the Black Shark twice?

Sryan is correct. In Track IR column delete Z axis from zoom and further up the column find Absolute Longitudinal Axis Shift camera view. Add Z axis there. Thanks Sryan, I also forgot how to do this until you posted.

Hi, recently returned to DCS and loaded 1.5- it looks great but have two problems: Loading Mig 21 and Ka-50 Blackshark modules. Mig module asked for reactivation and key number. This was done but it then went into a continuous Ok, not Ok loop which cost me a number of activations. My Ka 50 install is BS-1 upgraded to BS-2. Installing to 1.5 appears to be unavailable. These are my favorite aircraft in DCS, I have searched the other threads and know others have similar install fails. Has anyone heard of an official response?

Sounds like you have some unintended multiple control assignments, either in axis page or button page. (Your wheel brake sounds like it is commanded on by an assignment you are not aware of.)

Pajeezy, I'm flying DCS A10c with a CH pro throttle. It took a while to figure out a good switch assignment scheme but it works great for me. (The only task that is a little awkward is switching from white-hot to black-hot on TGP). I would have loved to own a Warthog stick but I'm just not that specialized in my flight simming, regularly flying BMS Falcon, ROF, BOS, Condor and IL2 not to mention all the FC3 aircraft and Black Shark. The CH works great for all those but you will need a large notelbook to keep track of all the assignments.
