  1. Our apologies everyone, our upload hasn't been included by accident, but ED is already looking into it and the possibility to maybe launch a hotfix before XMAS or End of the Year, so you can all enjoy it over the holidays. Ha! Sniped me! Thank you @BIGNEWY
  2. Dear all, as always we're happy to present you the latest patch, most importantly including a fix and overhaul for the collision model - aka no more sunken tires. Our apologies it took us a bit longer as usual this time. A special thank you also goes to @JonathanRL - who ever so kindly helped us fix the Viggen Red Flag campaign, and in doing so not only fixed the bugs, but also improved it altogether. We are very grateful for it! Before we let you all off into a merry holiday season with our best wishes, we would also like to announce that @MYSE1234 and @TOViper have joined the Heatblur Team, to help us in our efforts for the Viggen and beyond. We're very happy to have two of such outstanding Viggen community members on board. Now, what remains is to wish you all a Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays, we hope you all will have a great and festive time with your family and loved ones, and ofc: we wish you all plenty of time to fly DCS! As always, thank you for your continued support and kind feedback! Your Heatblur Team DCS AJS-37 Viggen by Heatblur Simulations Fixed collision and suspension model for the main landing gear. Rebuilt collision model from the ground up, fixing inconsistencies in AI collision, damage and other unwanted effects. Updated RB-04 and RB-15 collision models - both ASM’s will now be more susceptible to CIWS. Added new and reworked DS37 Data Cartridge model. Revised all splinter liveries for more accurate M90 splinter pattern. Renamed Splinter F7 Skaraborgs Flygflottilj 76. Complete overhaul of the Red Flag Campaign 16-2 - by JonathanRL (thank you!): Mission Dates now adjusted to reflect the time span of the real 16-2 Red Flag Exercise. Weather has been adjusted to be accurate for the season. All AJS-37 Viggen Aircraft have been given the correct squadron livery and correct serial numbers for aircraft stationed at F 7 Såtenäs. All F-16C Aircraft have been updated to module status and given correct liveries and serial numbers for 77th Fighter Squadron “Gamblers” who attended Red Flag 16-2. All F/A-18C Aircraft have been updated to module status and given correct liveries and numbers for VFA-314 “Black Knights” who attended Red Flag Alaska 16-2. Radio Bug fixed in all missions. AI flight orders and loadouts adjusted to make them more efficient in their respective roles across multiple missions. Their performance should now be far more consistent. Minor changes to mission 7, 9 and 10 to reduce frustration over issues the player had no control over.
  3. The work we do would not be possible without the support of many great museums that open their doors for us and let us get our hands on the jets we simulate. Without them, we could never recreate these magnificent aircraft for DCS as we do. Please help us return the favor! One of the museums that supported us not only with providing some of the most caring and welcoming hospitality and access to an F-14 - BuNo 161134 - but continues to actively support the flight sim community and the Heatblur Community in particular, is Valiant Air Command Inc in Titusville, Florida. Please help us to give a bit back to them, as a community. Valiant Air Command Inc. has recently established their brand new facebook page, and their goal is to reach 20.000 followers by the end of the year. If you can, please be so kind and take 30 seconds out of your day and visit their page and leave a like and share it with your friends. It is worth it, too! Immerse yourself in over 45 years of preserving aviation history at Valiant Air Command in Titusville, Florida! Their dedication to restoring and showcasing vintage aircraft keeps the legacy alive. Join their community, explore incredible stories, and witness the rebirth of aviation history on Florida's Space Coast. Like their facebook page to be a part of this remarkable journey of preservation and passion. Some of their most famous aircraft include: a C-47 - "Tico Belle" - WW2 survivor - flew every airborne invasion of ww2 - still flying today, tail number N3239T; an F-14A Tomcat - BuNo 161134; an A-6E - BuNo 1621892; an F-105D, tail number 60-0492; and an XP-82 Twin Mustang, which is the only one still flying today. Thank you for helping us give back to the museums as a community! And of course: if you ever pass by Titusville in Florida, we definitely recommend a stop at the museum! 4. Oh lordy, thank you for the report, I will take a look. That checkpoint is sure giving me nightmares. The fix should be in the module, yes. you can see if the checkpoint looks custom built (new version) vs the checkpoint being the default ME "roadblock" kinda checkpoint (old version.
  5. I have not ever come across an aircraft, or anything that can fly for that matter, which I do not like. I may mock Vipers and Hornets, because it is natural, but in all honesty, how can one not like any one aircraft, when in reality you'd give anything to get the opportunity to fly it just once, which for me also counts for sims. The only thing I mourn, is that I have not more time to fly all the modules in all the sims more. From a glider, to a Wilga pulling it, to a kit aircraft, let alone any kind of fighter jet.
  6. For those of you who missed it, please find today's surprise Demo from VIAF 2023 below. We would like to thank the entire VIAF Team for making this happen, but also for putting up such an amazing show the entire past two days! Please consider heading over to their twitch and leaving them a followership, as a thank you for helping us to put this show together. https://www.twitch.tv/virtualairfestivals Congratulations also to all of you who won an F-4 Phantom today and yesterday at VIAF and in our discord! We hope you enjoy the first ever DCS: F-4E Phantom II Demo, flown by your very own @graywo1fg - the voice of Jester!
  7. Dear all, the recent patches contain only minor fixes, but as always we would kindly like to ask you for your feedback. The slowdown in patches for the F-14 and Viggen are due to us undertaking a more holistic approach in order to make both aircraft beneficiaries of various new features introduced with the F-4, but we'll be aiming to ship various changes and fixes in the December patch before some of these features make their way back into the aircraft. Thank you all for your very kind patience, for your continued kind support and feedback! DCS AJS-37 Viggen by Heatblur Simulations Fixed RB-04 buddy-blast

I would also like to add my personal thanks to both Rokkett and Rick_NSX, who so kindly helped to fix Reforger II and with that took a huge burden off my shoulder and allowed us to finally ship fixes and not make everyone wait longer. It is much appreciated! DCS F-14 Tomcat by Heatblur Simulations Fixed Operation Reforger II Missions 2-5 not progressing correctly, thanks to @Rokkett and @Rick_NSX! Fixed random bulletholes to pop up on fuselage.
  9. It's ok. We still love you, brother.
  10. We shall accept these, because no burn is as good as a side burn. Well done!
  11. We have not shared any yet. We will share them soon. We have internal developer version of DCS and work simulatenously on the latest version before it releases to open beta. It would not work otherwise at all, as each patch would potentially break every module like that. All modules get built against the version you guys will get, before you get it, and tested, if they work, etc. For a good while now the F-4 has been developed on 2.9 and upwards.
  12. Will do Josh! You will all receive your prices this week btw, I saw your PM. My apologies I did not get to reply yet.
  13. My apologies. I almost forgot. The DSCG, the digital scan converter group was an upgrade from the so called DVST (direct view storage tube). The DVST was an older TV screen that could only display radar information. With the DSCG upgrade the F-4E could then display more than just a radar image, like TV imagery from the Mavericks or the Pave Spike. The then later following DMAS upgrade, the digital modular avionics system, was an upgrade to the avionics and how they interact with each other, or integrate with each other, and it allowed the F-4E to carry newer equipment like a new INS, a datalink pod for the GBU15, etc.. So one was an upgrade to allow for more versatile displays, while the other allowed for more advanced avionics and system integration. Hope that makes sense. (And I am sure there are many here who can explain it far better than me.) None taken. We did not forget. And we ofc want to take it one step further by making it flyable.
  14. Sorry, maybe I was a bit unclear. With the F-4 of course, at this time, meaning before and for a good while after release. Once the modules have been released for a while, we increase partaking in sales, miles, etc. But with new modules we unfortunately cannot afford to partake in the miles programme.
  15. Thank you for your kind purchase! It is much appreciated! There is no difference, on either store you support us both equally. We appreciate the purchase on our store though, because it sends traffic our way. In addition you can only get the special edition packages on our store, as we handle the shipping etc ourselves, and it is difficult to integrate in other, predominantly digital stores. The choice is ultimately yours though and you should go with whichever option fits you best.
  16. 1. What makes you think he has no mustache even now? 2. We will have to see, I cannot say yet. I am sure we will try. 3. A6 coming. But... still a while.
  17. Thank you for your kind purchase! We will see about night vision goggles, but we will take your wish on board.
  18. Thank you both for your purchases! It is much appreciated!
  19. Ah I see now. This is the German store link, which should receive the German translation soon, ED is currently working on that. It has already been updated on the main description page, and I am sure will follow soon on the country or language based pages.
  20. I shall forward what my great grandfather ones wrote me, during a harsh, long and cold winter night in the year 1905: Dear Sir, while I fully second the sentiment of growing a proper mustache for the upcoming release of the phantastic phantom, I shall nonetheless allow myself the liberty to reprimand you, kind Sir, that during Movember one does not grow a mustache to get prizes, but to bestow the world with the grant prize of your mustache itself. We shall however graciously forgive you this misstep as hitherto Movember has had barely been started and we can see how this could have lead to a facile oversight, a trap, much like the one we are so proudly cultivating our fine mustaches around. Should however any of you grow a sizeable, phabulous mustache until the release, and be willing to expose their fine contours to the public's judgement on these very forums, we shall indeed bestow a firm pat on your back, as a humble gesture of our approval and utmost respect. Because a true mustache can only ever be grown for the sake of being a magnificent mustache, fine Sir! Please have our dearest wishes and cheers for your growing endeavours! Signed: Pops.
  21. As mentioned above, we unfortunately do not partake in the miles program. Thank you for your kind understanding.
  22. Try refreshing, it shows correct for me: My pleasure! Thank you for your very kind support!
  23. My apologies, I had to verify, because I initially said this was ED's choice, but it is indeed ours. Unfortunately we do not partake in the ED Miles programme at this time, as a loyalty programme bonus we do not have that many products exposed to it to take advantage and for it to be economically viable for us at the moment. We've tried to price the module as fairly as possible taking into account our development costs to make a complex simulation. Thank you for your very kind support and understanding!
  24. I need to verify, I will get back to you on that.
