I was thinking about the same thing but have ED add the JFK and the Big E to the Supercarrier. I don't mind the Nimitz class that's in it I just feel only using one subclass that you change the island here and there does not feel what you paid for.

Hey Admiral, got to say I loved how this turned out, but sadly I think I found some wrong with it. I was taking some shots of my MEU for here and I happen to spot this.

Sure looks like it, nothing wrong trying to re-use and updating old models from other Moders then starting from scratch. I like to see ED and RAZBAM update older AI ships to scale or add newer ones too build a diverse fleet. I remember hearing the head of the RAZBAM wanting to add a WASP or America class Assault Ships in DCS. But ever since ED came out with the Supercarrier there has not been much info on what they're planning other than the Arleigh Burke IIa.

Oh nice, I grow up in Bremerton Wa for many years, I quite enjoyed looking at the shipyard and the reserve fleet. It wasn't till after high school while waiting to get into the navy I got to be on my first ship, an old tin can USS Turner Joy DD-951. I wasn't able to get in the navy but I spent four and half years working on here with grate pride and still do to this day. I would love to see her in DCS fully detailed but not much use for her in the game unless a Vietnam map and asset pack comes out.

Oh wow, I was not thinking that as the next coast guard boat. Yeah, from what models you have shown I had a feeling that were you going with it, and it makes sense. I like to see ED add some more naval ships to go with what they have already, and I know RAZBAM has talked about adding some more down the road, but I think you and joey45 are doing a great job, keep it up. :thumbup: I was thinking to go with the Oak Hill and the Tarawa may be a Newport class LST would look great, make a true Amphibious ready group?

Oh, cool thanks @Admiral189 I was not expecting to see that I guess you have a lot more ships in the works then what I was thinking. I can't wait to see what the other cutter looks like but I may have some ideas :smilewink:. Are you mainly picking modern ships (2000-present) or (the late 80s to mid-90s)? Just wanted to hear what your thought on were this is going.

Hey @Admiral189, since the FFGX being worked on can I make an odd request? I've been playing the idea of having some US Coast Guard assets in-game, especially in the Persian Gulf map. It would be nice to see Legend-class cutter (aka National Security Cutter) or Island-class patrol boat sailing around there or in the upcoming Mariana Islands map.

Yes, the Oriskany was being planned back when Merker was part of the dev team. When Merker left due to personal reasons I think the dev team decided they wanted to focus on getting A-4E-C more complete and taking care of the bugs that came up or was placed on the fix list. Note this was all before DCS Super Carrier was even announced. I'm not sure what the overall plan is next for the Dev team other than guessing.

Ah, to be true I figured as much, ever since hearing about FlyingIorn Sims was working on there A-7E its kinda pointless to make an AI one. Just a side idea what about and having a C-141 Starlifter A or B model to the Mod?

I just gave the mod a try today and everything looks like it's loaded in and working, but I could not put the external fuel tanks on. Overall not a bad mod but for sure it needs some work done to it. Thank you for making this happen and keep at it if you can.

I so happy to see that the Sea King is getting some loving again, I enjoy having the SH-60 being my plane guard but I like to change things up and I'm hoping to make a Vietnam era carrier mission with the A-4E-C down the road. Are there any plans to release this soon or a way I could get just the SH-3 skins?

I have to say thank you for making this mod, I love having the C-2 as part of my carrier wing and I cant wait to see how the V-22 will handle on the ships. I can't wait to see the A-7 get added in next if that still being worked on? Side note I was looking at some photos of the C-2 and I happen to see some nice paint jobs, maybe they could get added to the next update?
