With 1.2.6 controls of VHF radio are changed. Before : rotary change value of itseft frequency. Ex : 15x.xxx = 0.75 , for values of tens MHz. So, before 1.2.6, to set from 140.000 to 150.000 MHz (direction is important between increase or decrease a sub frequency), we must send DeviceID(55):performClickableAction( 3010, 0.75 ) We must know the current frequency to change it. But 1.2.6 version did a revolution in VHF radios... Now, to change a frequency, we don't need to know the current frequency. Ex : to increase tens of MHz 140.000 to 150.000 DeviceID(55):performClickableAction( 3009, +0.01 ) Ex : to decrease tens of MHz 150.000 to 140.000 DeviceID(55):performClickableAction( 3010, -0.01 ) Note the button ID, first to increase, second to decrease. Now, it's different. However, this doesn't work correctly. With performClickableAction command, we can change the display of frequencies in DCS virtual cockpit, or perhaps Helios (I don't use Helios radios), or homepit (my case), but there is a problem : What is displayed in the virtual cockpit isn't good. DCS software understands an another frequency. We must use the mouse to change frequencies (refresh one is enough) on VHF radio. Let's wait for the next DCS version to have a reliable radios...

Erratum... VHF AM problem comes from export command : DeviceID:performClickableAction( button , value) (Device 55) When I use this command (for my homepit), displayed VHF_AM frequency is correct but it's bad for DCS software. What is displayed in the virtual cockpit isn't good. I must use the mouse to change frequencies on VHF_AM radio. With 1.2.6 version controls of VHF radio have changed.

Hello, With DCS:A-10C 1.2.6: I had same problems too, after the update from 1.2.5 to 1.2.6 : no tankers and no towers responses, noise on 15x.000 frequencies except 151.000, etc... I reinstalled DCS from new 1.2.6 disbution files : same problems. I deleted my \Saved Games\DCS\ directory, and tankers respond on <=149.975 frequencies, and all towers respond except Viazani (140.000). But those work if I don't modify keyboard mapping or axis inputs. Now I must change inputs : TRIM, brakes... So no radios work for me. For me the problem comes from files in \Saved games\DCS\ directory. Cheers,

Hi mr_mojo97, Please create an account on the TacnoWorld web site. Download only works if you are registered and connected. Cheers

Hi Ken, Export of 1.2.6 version has changed. Why ? Surely to simplify. Before with version, each frequency rotary had two buttons : First to increase value and the second to decrease value. The value, than it was necessary to send, was the new frequency. Ex for the ten : "12"0.000 = 0.6 and use the good button to increase or decrease. Now with the 1.2.6, each button only gives the direction. Ex for the ten : "12"0.000 VHF AM = (device 55) Button 9, send +0.01 to increase frequecy VHF AM = (device 55) Button 10, send -0.01 to decrease freqency If this can help you... Cheers Tacno

Hi BadCRC, I'm always impressed by your "travel" homepit. It's simple and very effective. Everyone should have one for the holidays :D

"Que c'est beau !" Beautiful, Gadroc ! As all you do...

I think that the back layout in transparent plexiglass is good for one thing : back light transmission if the source of light is in the consoles. But, plexigass is fragile, very fragile. Don't let fall down it. If you think that you'll fixe your switches, lights, dimmers once and you'll fixe your panels on the console very few times, perhaps it'll work. Ask to the pit-builders how many panels broken by a strong screwing... I prefered the steel that is more robust. You can bore holes for back lights. You have to be careful. I'm not.

Don't hesitate to ask anything. The posts or web sites are the top of the iceberg, and they don't tell all. Also, find oneself can please... Cheers Tacno

I like how you build your home-pit and how you get skill. You began with Leobodnar card and now you program your own card and LCD. It isn't easy to have enougth energy and time to do all you did and all you want to do. Great job HMA. I wish you courage.

With DCS, all clients have to log on, by an Internet connection. In the Museum, if you have an Internet router, it's good. Plug all DCS client PC (pilots) behind an Ethernet Switch and connect the Internet router to this switch. 2 servers are used to log: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com [130.94.65.17] TCP 443 master.eagle.ru [161.58.185.114] TCP 5222 If you don't have an Internet router in the Museum, perhaps my guide (french language with screenshot, sorry to be borned in farwest of Europe :) ) can help you : here

I share our experience : We finished our LAN party. We don't have any problem to log in. We were 25 pilots, connected on 2x 48 FastEthernet port switches. A Kerio Winroute routes to logon DCS servers firewalled. It was installed on a laptop. Some smartphones shared 3G Internet connection by WiFi with the laptop. Nothing to tell, else new surprises of DCS patches...

Great ! DArt Much needed addon for fighters aircrafts and to save my fanny... Thanks for this dimension of flight combat. Hang in there

Many thanks Rockeyes. When I read this forum several years ago, many posts were sensational for me. I tought it was impossible to do that. Today, If my pictures can guide someone, or someone becomes a homepiter then I succeeded something.

Departure to LAN Party If you ask yourself why I put casters under the consoles. Here is a begining of an answer : Very pratical for LAN party...

Hello all, This week, tomorrow and during 4 days, my virtual wing is going to do a LAN Party. :joystick: We will not have wire Internet in the room. We will logon on via a router behind a 3G Internet smartphone only for logon. But, now DCS clients must be online during the fligth... Our DCS clients (25 peoples) will be have the same Internet public address. Questions : Does DCS have limitation of clients by public IP ? Someone did LAN Party and DCS-W 1.2.x ? Did it work correctly ? How many peoples ? Thanks for yours replies Best regards, Tacno

At the beginning, I thought what you wrote. See further... Build better

Good job HMA ! Which export tools do you use, and why ?

This is the end... Now, I am ready for the next LAN party in dark room in one week  I have lot of pleasures to "fly" with my homepit in a very good simulator that is DCS, in fact the best simulator today... It's my alone reward. Now I ajust details, I tune DCS. For 8 months, I can fly with a complet homepit in my french virtual wing : 3rd-Wing.net (about 54 pilots). Today I can fly in a dark room !!! Normally, I won't build any panel. TISL, IFF and HARS are missing. Keep it up for all.

Huge work what you do there, Frank ! But from which planet do you come ? Here, on Earth, days last 24 hours ? I feel that yours lasts 200 hours ... Keep it up.

The last panel..... then I stop here The article in french here, but you can tray Google translate or see the pictures...Perhaps one day, I'll translate my website I'll change the gears of the right fuel needle. Today, it's precission less. Teeth are missing

Hi all, I don't read any post with a CMSP "true false panel" extraction. Is possible to have pictures of your works in this post ? Are extracted data types (network and plain text plain) enough ? Tacno

Do you run it on normal mode, without debug and show frame ? Did you change PERIOD value in config.ini file ? Is Windows Aero Desktop shutdown ? My PC is : i2600K @8x4,20GHz , RAM 16 GB (no swap disk) and Win7 pro, SSD for OS and SSD pour DCS. At all, please, send me your modified matrixdb.dat that I can share for all from my web site and this post.
