Looking good

It's stressed that you do it on the default map as some people who need to see it, probably don't have that map, so I'd recommend doing it on the Caucasus map and then re-uploading it

Yeah, linky no worky my man.

Exactly because no matter how much we complain it still will take time. Sure I may want to try the module, but I do work for another game and it takes time to work on, so let them worry about getting it ready and less complaining, because it's not going to move any faster either.

I mean I can't say you're wrong but overall I don't do anything whatsoever with the kinematics of an AGM-88C, but I do know it's not a silver bullet that's for sure, at least in the sim. As for real life we'll have to have somebody who actually fired them to weigh in, because I'm not that guy.

We're back to the same thing... "balance" is what's wanted when no war has any balance. Just look at WW2... if we look at the Axis planes versus the Allies, it's uneven. The same thing happens if someone wants a Korean or Vietnam scenario... MP servers will start putting equipment outside that era just to maintain "balance," so that's not the ED problem.
And about the F-35, same as always. It's not ED's fault that certain governments can put you in jail for trying to make certain aircraft "red." ED and certain third parties are already very careful about what is and isn't done in DCS World.
I mean I never coded for DCS, but what little I saw when me and SkateZilla worked together years ago, there's a lot you can and can't do. It makes no sense going to jail to provide players with a real experience. I mean it would be nice, but i think they care about such things. Even for another game I play, I have to balance what I can do with the files, and what I have to keep to myself as well.

I mean then you'll be approaching games like sandbox ones that do feature visible cargo, but in the end it would be kinda nice, +1

Hi,
when we test there does not seem to be a problem, can you create a track showing the issue and attach your dcs log from the same session. We do not need a miz that is just the mission file, we require the track replay from the session which you can save when you exit the mission.
thank you
Okay it's going to be a long one, but if it's not happening when tested, I'll leave this one alone then. Thanks though as any short distances it works fine, but anyway, okay.

I guess you call it the HSI when you have the default right CDU page on the screen. Anyway I was doing a basic waypoint exercise to get familir with navigating and the HSI doesn;t go to the third waypoint. It should be noted that the waypoints are made in the Mission Editor and not on the fly like in the Flight Plan area, just following the points to make sure I can get around in the helo and whatnot. It doesn't seem to want to follow the points after the second one. I was going to do a track, but this only happens at long distances, and not short distances (which I was doing in the track), so I can make a track, but it'll be too long, so if you don't mind I can do one, but not sure how long it could be.

The A-10A did not have any autopilot at all. Pilots crossing the Atlantic en route to the middle East in 1990 for Operation Desert Shield had to hand-fly many hours in lose formation with tankers. What fun that must have been!
The Low Altitude Autopilot with its fairly basic modes is thus a big step forward and allows pilots to spend more time heads down and focus on the mission.
While I'm not sure if it actually played a role, USAF leadership was never a fan of the A-10 and has tried many times to get rid of it. The request for additional funds might not have gone down well with them.
Plus there are probably technical reasons.
None that I know of.
Just to clarify, are you mad at Fairchild Republic or at DCS? Because DCS is a simulation, and adding an autopilot that doesn't exist on the real aircraft would put it in fairy tale land. And criticism towards the aircraft's manufacturer is a bit ill-placed in a forum about its simulation.
Agreed, while DCS has a TLAR (That Looks About Right) attitude sometimes, it generally doesn't skimp on the details that can be done and such.

Just did a short flight in the terrain, I wish they'd get some of the cities fleshed out. Anyway was going to bring up Iran as it needs some love too, given the closeness and the like. But I'm sure they're maybe working on it though, given the historical significance of the map. But yeah +1 for more Iranian airbases.

VFA-22 skin now available, linky posted above

I just googled it and it says the C can still engage if the radar is shut off, and isn't as accurate, The D model is more accurate though, through the GPS/INS and so on.

I don't fly the F-16 but the HARM is designed to remember the location of the emitting radar if it goes off. That was a feature added to real world HARMs due to experience with the Vietnam War when SAM radar operators turned off their radars due to a Shrike or Standard ARM attack and confuse the missile. If I'm reading right then that's intended behavior.

Diamondback CAG skin now available, link posted above.

While they get around to approving the above, I finished this livery, the VFA-22 CAG 2015. I saw from some of my reference photos and didn't have any good shots of the more marked one (only one photo), but here it is as uploaded:

Next up. It should be noted that these are old skins when Skatezilla and I tried to make a Super Hornet mod of our own. That didn't work out for various reasons and so these are just adaptations (on the modified 3D model that the CJS team uses now) from those old textures. Which is why I can crank out so many. I mean I'm a machine, but not that quick at least. Anyway this is the old 2015-16 era VFA-102 CAG livery that I've always liked too:

I know I have a topic somewhere, but it's been years and it was only one skin, but anyway I fixed the numbers issue with the skin, and looks as intended. I may do more skins, don't know yet as after years of owning it, I finally got some interest in it through the CJS Super Hornet Mod. Anyway here's a fixed skin file for the VFA-37 CAG 2008 skin I did years ago:

I'm waiting for peer review on this one though, given some feedback I got on the CJS Discord:
