=GR= Cypher replied to =GR= Cypher's topic in Tournaments & Events
IMPORTANT UPDATE!!! Since DML is not functioning, CSAR mission will be handled in a specific time and date, exactly as the real deal! For now nothing can be announced officially but there is a possibility to allow slots for non-JATF members. Stay tuned! -

Unfortunately DML seems to be malfunctioning after the last update. CSAR stopped working. Upon pilot touching the ground, it shows a message saying CSARmanager not loaded mission aborted. -

Iniochos is an annual exercise carried on by the Hellenic Air Force in cooperation with the army and navy. The first exercise was back in the mid 80s and lasted for 15 days. The purpose of the exercise is to train mass formations (COMAO) in complex missions in cooperation with other land and sea assets. In 2015 Iniochos became an INVITEX exercise with the cooperation of US Special Forces and IAF with F-16I Sufa. Since then, every year, massive numbers of aircraft take part from various countries (USA, UK, Italy, Slovenia, UAE, Qatar, Spain etc.) in a 10 day mission profile. Iniochos missions SEAD AIRFIELD STRIKE HVT STRIKE ANTI-SHIP STRIKE SLOW MOVER SUPPORT CSAR DYNAMIC TARGETING/STRIKE COORDINATION/RECCE/CAS HVAA (High Value Air Asset) PROTECTION In October 2025, LockOn Greece | DCS World Greece and Joint Air Task Force (JATF) are launching their massive Iniochos campaign in the map of Syria. In a 30v30 environment, Red and Blue side fight over a vast territory. Jets, helicopters, naval assets, AWACS, ground commanders, ATC/GCI and human JTACs are in place for victory. Both sides will have a preset battlefield. Red side will operate with F-16, F-18, F-15E, F-14B, MiG-29S, Su-27, J-11 and JF-17 along with CH-47F, UH-1H, Mi-8 and Mi-24P while Blue will have F-16, F-18, F-15E, F-14B, AV-8B, A-10C II, AH-64D, OH-58D, CH-47F, UH-1H, Mi-8, Mi-24P and KA-50 III. Helicopters on both sides can make use of the Dynamic Cargo to resupply bases with ammunition while Blue will have a CTLD capability for limited unit deployment. Ground commanders can move and operate all ground and naval assets as well as MQ-9 Reaper drones for recon purposes and mark targets on the F10 map for strike packages. CSAR option is available via DML scripts. Be aware, things on the battlefield might change as the scenario unfolds. May the best side win!

Hello everyone, I would like to propose the possibility to give units (ground and naval only) the capability to create F10 marks using sensors (radar, optical or passive) and troops upon LOS only for enemy ground or naval units. This will allow editors not to use scripting for marks on the map. For example in the trigger list: Once -> unit xxxx detects enemy -> create f10 mark Thank you.

CPU runs +20° hotter in idle after update to 2.9.16.10523.
=GR= Cypher replied to Dmsea1's topic in Game Performance Bugs
@BIGNEWY Good evening. After the update, the CPU temps run high from the initial loading page and do not drop after loading is completed. I'm running an AMD 7700X with watercooling having idle temps at max 43 degrees now with ambient temp at around 24. When loading DCS temps go high to the mid 80s and dont drop at all even after running a mission or mission editor. A lot of people reverted to the previous update reporting that it went back to normal. -

Same here. From the loading page temps are running high as hell! 7700X reaching up to almost 90 degrees after the update! -
Good morning. I would like to propose the implementation of selecting a condition for specific percentage of coalition ground or naval force destroyed to end a mission. For example Once -> Red or Blue 75% ground units destroyed -> End Mission instead of selecting each group individually to add the condition. This would minimize the time spent for the editor to create and manage triggers. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE ADD AN UNDO FUNCTION!!!!! Thank you!

DML - Mission Creation Toolbox [no Lua required]
=GR= Cypher replied to cfrag's topic in Scripting Tips, Tricks & Issues
@cfrag Hello. I tried yesterday an old mission I created using the CSAR etc. I used a jet and ejected and when the pilot reached the ground showed the message regarding the extraction details etc. When I saved the mission, the downed pilot is shown as an M4 soldier named vehicle1. I tried to run the mission and the downed pilot as I imagined is not available for extraction. Do you have any plans of adding something to use with the new save feature? Thank you! -
Last night during our PvP when I launched 2 AGM-88 on PB mode against an enemy SA-15 on a known position with the waypoint inserted, the missiles after launch tracked and killed the friendly SA-15. The sensor of the missile is supposed to activate on the terminal phase to search for the radar emission. Sorry for the large trk files, I also include the tacview file on the wetransfer link to see the trajectory of the HARM. Thank you! PS the mission has scripts! https://we.tl/t-vMb4ju271Y

Same issue with the CDIP mode in RP MPL 2/6 050ft separation using CBU97. With the Mk82s no problem at all. dcs.log-20240228-121239.zip -

I've tried it multiple times using all kinds of dumb bombs, mk8x, cbu87/97, mk20, blu107 and crashes in all cases. It can only launch in ripple single. -

=GR= Cypher replied to =GR= Cypher's topic in Bugs and Problems
As it seems, the issue happens only when using Ripple Multiple. In Ripple single the bomb drops without problems. -
Good morning. Today practicing CBU drops, both loft and AUTO mode, upon releasing the bombs, DCS crashes. It happened all four times using either CBU87 and CBU97. dcs.log-20240228-091536.zip dcs.log-20240228-090627.zip dcs.log-20240228-091156.zip dcs.log-20240228-085957.zip Same happens also with the Mk20 Rockeyes dcs.log-20240228-092236.zip All of the shots are done in AUTO, RPL Multiple 1/6 050ft

During editing and testing a mission I created 4 groups of F-16s with 4 elements each. All datalinks, STN, Voice Callsigns, transmit power and flight details inserted in the editor but in-game nothing is the same. Example: Enfield 4 ship flight with STN from 00011 to 00014, Voice callsign EN11-14, transmit power high and for EN11 to be Flight Lead, during the mission is shown as EN12, STN 00011, OWN#2 which should be #1 as it's flight lead, transmit power MED and FL NO (Flight Lead). This also happens with the other elements in exactly the same way. The only option to have it in a correct way is to be manually inserted in-flight.
