  1. I found that since the patch that broke the AT disengage, that it just doesn't work well anymore. It seems to lack very much resolution, and just slams back and forth between idle and full mil. I've stopped using it again, even after this latest patch.
  2. It looks like mine was probably 713, so maybe the same? https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235042729-yf-4e-65-0713/
  3. I'm not having any issues with AP. Just make sure you have all SAS axes turned on. If you engage AP with one of the channels turned off, turn it back on, and the toggle the AP switch off and on again.
  4. Another from my Edwards collection
  5. Pics I took many years ago at Edwards AFB. 60329 is apparently an NF-4E.
  6. Okay, so tried it again, this time on a flight from a cold start where I never touched AP. AT still breaks the throttle control. It's effectively useless because you can no longer do a go around on a bolter.
  7. Yeah, maybe. I should say I tested with a mission where I started in the air. I think I had read somewhere that when you do that, it might actually start the jet with the autopilot on briefly, before switching off automatically. I've not tried it yet from a cold start.
  8. I'm finding this is an issue regardless of whether AP was engaged or not. Once I engage AT, it becomes impossible to move the throttle manually again, even if you flip the AT switch off.
  9. Nope, once the auto-throttle is engaged, you lose complete control of the throttle axis. You cannot disengage it by moving the throttle in any direction or by clicking the switch off of auto. In addition, the AT seems to only be moving to two power settings of around 70% RPM and 95% RPM. It doesn't stop anywhere in between. This is on the F-14A, BTW. Haven't tried the B
  10. Having the same issue. When disengaged, the throttle axis just seems to freeze and no longer responds. Also, I'm not sure auto-throttle is even working normally when engaged. It seems to only move the throttle sporadically now.
  11. Does the 95GR still have automatic maneuvering flaps like the 135? I know the 95 got automatic deployment of the slats, but I've never been clear about whether that included the flaps as well?
  12. Sorry, for the lowish rez (I usually fly in VR). I'm loving this Bicentennial livery, though!
  13. Will the latest version of the shaders (for 2.7.7.14727) on the previous page work with the latest Steam Open Beta version of DCS, or is it just for standalone?
  14. This wasn't the issue, however, your post "triggered" me into figuring it out! I have a VKB NXT with a two stage trigger. I had the first detent mapped to gun/rocket fire, and for some reason the second detent mapped to bomb release (it should have been mapped to the red pickle button, so not sure how I managed that). Anyway, apparently the "bomb release" will also fire the missiles, so when I was pulling the trigger fully, it was firing one missile, and then a second missile. Moving the bomb release off the trigger solved it, so thanks!
  15. He does not have that one installed. But at least the F-22 replaces the Sidewinder growl/tone with another one. He's just got nothing. What I'm starting to wonder is if it's because he has no paid modules (he's just starting), so he'd have no planes installed that actually have the Sidewinder sounds.
  16. Hi...I've got a couple dumb questions: First, a friend of mine got the A-4, and he doesn't seem to be able to hear the the AIM-9 sounds. I have him following my instructions- master arm on, bombs/rockets selected, and correct pylon selected. He can fire a missile, but he never hears either the standard growl or the lock on tone. Does he need to have some other mod or airplane installed to hear it? I have a number of paid airplanes and I hear it fine, so I was wondering if that was it. Other question: If you have multiple pylons selected with AIM-9's on them, is there anyway to make it so they don't all fire at once? Or do I just have to select them one at a time? I had seen a video a while back where they guy had all pylons selected, but only one Sidewinder would fire on each trigger pull. Thanks!
  17. The throttle and stick animations don't work, but the throttle still controls the engine. Basically, everything is working for me except that, the air speed, and a few other instruments. The weapons and flight systems all seem to work fine. It's still worth a download.
