  1. I'm running on a 3080, I remember couple of years ago there was a similar bug which was a specific asset causing it. It is not related to any overheat as everyone I am playing with gets the bug eventually, playing on the contention server. I managed to trigger the bug by doing a GBU bombing last night, it was fine when I started my bombing run, and when it detonated, the glitchy "road" appeared all over the base. And as we have seen huuuuge craters standing up in the sky like skyscrapers on this server it could maybe be related to some impact craters in specific situations. Attaching the video, and also the track replay, however, since contention is very scripted it does not open when I try to play it, but maybe someone from ED can dig further into it outside of DCS. 2. Amazing, I just bought the F16 ICP and I would love to have uses for the screen for other aircraft, any news?
  3. Yeah it's a bummer we need to do edits to get the export display working and unable to keep it on servers with IC.
  4. For me this happens in large multiplayer servers so far, haven't played enough single player to trigger it yet. My trackfile is huge and wont load due to the server scripts I guess.
  5. No mods at all. I have seen this issue some years ago but was fixed in some patch later down the road.
  6. Myself and my fellow pilots get's the same as well since the last update(s). I am flying helicopter a lot and it sure makes it interesting. I also just had it on Persian gulf as well on Syria. null
  7. Appreciate the reply, then everything is like it should, thank you
  8. So I returned to DCS after a very long break and getting back into the F18, so I was just started with deploying weapons and started with normal Iron bombs to practice CCIP to begin with. However I noticed that every time I designated my waypoint as target (to make it easier to see in HUD etc where my target should be) I noticed that the delivery mode was forced to AUTO and even when I go in the stores page and select CCIP, it remains AUTO. Since it has been so long time since I have been around in the F18 I cannot remember if it used to be like this, or if it is maybe something new that got implement, so I thought I would ask here It is supposed to be possible to do CCIP when pressing WPDSG to make the waypoint a target waypoint? Or is it limited to AUTO?
  9. Good stuff. Here is my mission if anyone wants to reproduce rb75test.miz
  10. Let's take 11 seconds and appreciate the amount of details in this game, out of everything that is being modeled, I did not expect the suspension of the technicals to be modeled as the gun is firing. https://medal.tv/games/dcs-world/clips/Sh1hz7VHl8F6_/d1337PbOwzO1?invite=cr-MSxVUDQsMTAwOTg0NjQyLA
  11. I was doing some MT / ST testing and was using RB75 as a test mission, and I got a weird issue if I run in ST, if I activate the RB75 seeker view and look in certain angles directly ahead, things starts to flicker like crazy. This does not exist in MT mode, and will be what I will be playing anyway. Here is a short clip of the issue in ST mode on the Syria map. Did a repair of DCS just to be sure everything was as it should, but the issue remained. https://medal.tv/games/dcs-world/clips/Z3glwHTVygxun/d1337k9RHTSb?invite=cr-MSw0UmUsMTAwOTg0NjQyLA
  12. Checked my pictures and found a pic with the real deal Looks a bit different, sure looks like some sort of protection or some cable should go through it
  13. Looking forward to see it in action for the first time since I was a kid in the 80's

  14. That is indeed a little workaround, was thinking about something similar myself, but I feel like there should an option to install the module on a different drive through the module manager.
  15. So as each big update comes along, the amount of available disk shrinks and eventually I start to run out of disk due to the size of terrains, like Syria for example. I reached a point where my DCS installation is just too big to fit the terrains as well, forcing me to uninstall them. Meanwhile, I still have some 160 GB disk left on my D drive for example, which is a nice SSD as well, so my suggestion / wish is that there should be possible to choose which drive to install at least the map/terrains on, while rest of the modules are not that large, but the terrains are huge. null
  16. Check out the 4YA servers, they have a bunch of PVE and a couple of PVP servers, thats where I started off with multiplayer, and still play on those servers.
  17. Depends on what server you join, some are PVP, some are PVE. There is a few dogfight servers out there. Read the description (briefing) when you join a server. You should be able to select a slot the type of plane(s) you own, and it should be somewhat clear which side you are joining, bluefor or redfor , uppe part is blue force and redfor the bottom part. If you have the plane but cannot select a slot, there might be a script on the server preventing you from selecting that slot, it may be that the airfield is under enemy control and not captured by your team yet, preventing you to spawn. You can only fly the planes you own, that is how DCS works. So if you have not bought a module yet, you can only fly SU-25 and the unarmed P51 or whatever plane it is
  18. OK so I did some more testing I did not have any devices except keyboard for the power lever, activating the synchronise hotas fixed the problem, now it kept going and upon mission start you can see the power lever going forward instantly upon joining the cockpit. I tried to disable the sync and yet the same issue appeared, so it seems like when it is not in sync mode, it (randomly?) starts in either 0 power or full power. But the only difference here is the colletive input when in sync mode, the collective input should have no impact on the power lever no? even if you have the lowest collective input I assume it is not supposed to go to power off on the lever. I also got the issue if I put my collective to 0 upon mission start, then the power lever stayed at off sometimes, so I assume it needs some power to get going. Not an expert on the apache if that is how it works or not, just what I see
