  1. Man! That's the ticket
  2. I think it's luck of the draw.... I don't even notice a flicker.
  3. I have it disabled, running at 60Hz... it's heaven.
  4. Right. I found myself saying, "try that over Caucuses in the A-10 or Apache"
  5. Might want to ask this guy.

    Morons...

Bought one of these based on the recommendation of a Youtube'r. Takes a month to receive only to realize it's apparently assembled incorrectly... the locking lugs that go to the base are 90* out. lesson learned... don't order <profanity> from China when avoidable.
  7. Shutting off the other shader mod was the ticket. Just tried my trk file again and stayed in the 12s for GPU. Down from 14403 earlier.
  8. Mine did the strobing thing one run of SteamVR cliff house... after that, all I could get was audio. I was sure I'd frag'd my G2 And your package began it's long journey to the other side of the planet yesterday.
  9. Interesting. I'll do some vanilla/OXR only testing after work. Had you tried clearing the shader cache in Radeon Software?
  10. Got it working... though, no noticeable improvement. Haven't picked through Radeon software to see if I need to enable something. Prior to, I was seeing 14403xx in the OXR tool GPU counter. After, relatively same flying same trk file. I recommend NOT upgrading the driver. Instead, I had to remove using DDU(in safe mode) then run the installer for the Preview Driver. I also recommend disconnection your internet before starting in safe mode to run DDU, to prevent Windows from auto installing the driver on reboot. I doubt we'll see any help from this on the GPU side simply because DCS is so CPU limited as it is.
  11. About to. edit: that might be a fail.... I get no image in headset now, OpenXR or SteamVR
  12. Have you tried running at 60Hz in WMR? I have come to love it.
  13. Once the OXR crew figure out the motion reprojection I'll consider switching back. For now, I'm perfectly happy with 60Hz and stutter free DCS at eye popping resolutions.
  14. I know it was worse the first few times I tried it with Steam VR. Was especially horrible back when I was on a Vive Cosmos Elite. Near migraine inducing.
  15. I'd be in for Albedo & Clear sky.
  16. Anyone care to replicate this is DCS? skills
  17. Curious if anyone out there has a spare Vive cable for sale? My grand daughters bit the dust and it's looking more an more like HTC isn't going to continue production. It's my understanding the Vive pro cable is also compatible with the Cosmos Elite headset.
  18. Occasionally, it can hang up (crash) on first run but yes...let it finish. You will have to wait for each airframe & terrain map, but it will be exponentially shorter wait time.
  19. RivaTuner statistics server is an option.
  20. That's because when you repair install, DCS replaces any altered files with defaults & places any "extras" in the corresponding back up folder, assuming you choose the option to.
  21. Same here on the Radeon settings. Chill does work but I haven't used it since I switched to running my G2 at 60Hz, now I have incredible clarity, smooth flight and no need for motion repro.
