  1. First, make absolutely certain the male and female 5pin connectors are seating fully together.

    Warthog base

Is there a list of compatible grips for the TM Warthog base? Thanks in advance
  3. Yep, I threaten it by opening task manager... by the time I'm about to click End Task... viola, opens.
  4. Only thing I've noticed is a few small towns or what I guess are groves of trees are the white/lavender missing texture squares.
  5. This may sound crazy but, here it goes. I stumbled on this completely by accident. I have found if I have Quick CPU running, and either before or just after selecting a mission to start, then Alt/Tab to Quick CPU, move the core parking slider even just a touch, then click Apply then move it back/apply... no more waiting 5-10 minutes for a mission to load. It also will force the system to resume in those instance when the CPU seems to be doing nothing, as evident by the fans slowing to nothing. null
  6. DIY based on this guys design. Haven't yet.
  7. I 3D printed a 40cm and run stock spring. Works great https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4718382 null
  8. Patched: 1st run, non VR mode 45 minutes later... null
  9. Check out this guy's series... His brake design is genius. Have a link to your files?
  10. My previous setup was functional but, took up way too much room and the seat (an old office chair) was not comfortable. I centered this one around a seat from SimFab. Has the seat cutout and insert provided, full recline, forward/back adjustability and it's soooooooo comfortable. About 3/4 of a sheet of plywood, screws and much test fitting. Even have room under the seat to store all the hardware. I have since also 3D printed a 40cm Warthog extension(total game changer for heli flight) and 3D print/built a Huey collective. I ran across a build on You-Tube and just had to make one. Now if I can just find some flight time in between all the honey-do's that have piled up since I started.
  11. Is it possible to connect a HALL sensor to BU0836A?
  12. Right. I recall getting a "notification" email from HP that not only were they shelving the G2 but, were getting out of the VR space entirely. Perhaps in response to where they knew MS was headed with WMR.
  13. Damper and the felt removed is an absolute game changer. Very fine, gradual control.
  14. You may be on to something Greg. I just finished 30 minutes of trials launches. While I have never used "ParkControl", I do currently use Quick CPU to do performance and parking. Prior to, I had always used Ultimate performance and 100% Core Parking slider (basically NO cores parked). I started playing with the slider and set it to 33% and launch DCS. From the main menu I start with the AH-64, Nevada, runway start. Click ok. First mission load time, about 2 minutes. ( half or better than "usual") and required no intervention via mouse click or dabbing the G2 sensor as my system fans no longer slow to idle. Exit that mission and launch another in Nevada: Click Ok and the subsequent load time 10-15 seconds (GREAT). Exit, switch to Caucuses, still in the AH-64. Initial load, about a minute. Exit, choose other mission/Ok... 10 seconds. (GREAT). Switch to F-15E, basically same results, only first load of whichever mission/map for F-15E is notably faster. Exit from there, go to A-10C II, Nevada, Weapons practice... 10-13 seconds. (Awesome). Quit to desktop and try several more times, in differing order. F-15E ALWAYS repeats this cycle much faster than if starting with any other air frame. And I'm still convinced of something I noted earlier in this or a couple other MT topics... it's as if the engine is somehow clearing shader cache and or the fxo/metadata folder between Starts. For now, I am sticking with the Quick CPU settings below. Worth noting, I get about the same with the slider on 0% null
  15. The stem/grip shaft is a length of 3/4" copper tubing. I found a bicycle grip cap that fit perfect in the end that meets the throttle quadrant and sandwiched a piece of felt, chair leg slider in between. Drill accordingly for a snug fit, then press in while bolting together. Was still a little slippery toward the bottom so I took an X-acto blade and added some light cross hatching. Now it's not as smooth travel as I'd hoped for but it works. I've ordered an 8" 4.4 lb gas damper rod to add and possibly remove the felt pieces. Will follow up after install.
  16. Built a collective over the weekend. Mostly from things laying around my shop, a Logi throttle quad, a Bodnar board and a whole lot of Macgyver brain. Stick: VKB NXT Gladiator (springs removed), pedals VKB Mark V.
  17. This isn't that recent. I've had this issue since about May 2023
  18. Can you describe or provide photo of how the caps are placed, and cap size?
  19. Hold off on mine for now. I'm taking a crack at a DIY version.
  20. I have noticed somewhat of a pattern. Loading any F-15E mission happens in about 1/3 the time as any other. And once that first initial mission loads, exit and start any of mission (or map) and it loads in seconds. Any module beyond that, loads as slow as if it I had emptied the metashader2 and fxo folders. Often 10-15 minutes. UNLESS I first load/exit a couple F-15E missions... then even the other modules load faster than "normal." Coincidentally, for me anyway this slow to load behavior seems to have started the same week the F-15E was pre-released.
  21. Please unmark this as "fixed." The issue persists to this day. I would even say, it's worse than the time of this thread was posted.
